Chapter 172: The picture

The elevator doors opened up and Anurag stepped outside with his wife beside him. Just as was the case the previous time when he had picked people for Operation S, the remaining survivors of Nesting Heights gathered themselves in the lobby of the ground floor. Anurag scanned their faces once and noticed that this time around, their expression weren't as welcoming. He noticed several of them glaring at him while the few who didn't, looked lost and confused as they tried to figure out whether they had been left out of the loop.
