Chapter 143: Inside the supermarket

"What the fuck…" said Rody in a daze as he saw Madvi being pulled away into the darkness. "WHAT THE FUCK? WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?"

All around him, Rody could hear his team members panicking. Varun who was right next to him looked like he had forgotten to breathe. Tasha gasped out loud and backed up until she collided with the wall of the supermarket. Biju held up his rifle in the direction where Madvi was dragged but Rody could clearly see the man's fingers tremble. Even Anurag seemed genuinely shocked but what had just happened. He cried out her name as she disappeared from their view. The five of them stood outside, dumbfounded and lost, for several seconds.

Rody was the first to snap out of it. "Everyone…" he said weakly before raising his voice, "Everyone! Get inside the supermarket. Hurry!"
