Ray stood at the edge of the F block entrance as he thoroughly scanned his surroundings. He couldn't see any Deathless in the vicinity so he motioned to Rody and Meghan behind him that it was all clear.

Together, the three of them moved quietly towards the stone steps, darting their eyes in multiple directions to ensure that they weren't spotted. It took longer than necessary from them to finally reach the stairs that led down to the poolside. Mainly because rather than killing every Deathless on their path, they instead chose to hide and wait for them to pass before continuing further. It definitely was more time consuming but it was far safer as well.
