Chapter 63: Calling Elaine

Stella's POV

After David and I talked at the restaurant he drove me to Sam's condo.

"I hope you're okay, Stella," David said out of his car.

"I am okay, don't worry," I replied.

"Okay, then, I'll catch you up soon," David said.

"Um, David, wait."

"What's wrong? Will you tell me anything else? "

"Um… I want to see your sister…"

"You want to see, Elaine?"

"Yes, I would like to talk to her in person."

"Um, well. She's not here. She's in Italy right now; after she and Sebastian separated she immediately went to Italy. I also didn't know that was her plan. But if you want to talk to her, you can talk to her on the phone. Do you want me to just give you her number?"

"Um… sure… thank you," I replied.
