Chapter 103: County Magistrate Invitation

The autumn sun was high and the sun was shining, and a note from the White Mayor arrived with the tea he had brought.

"Invite us to a feast tomorrow night to admire the moon." Dai Zi Shi opened the letter and glanced at it before handing it over.

Su Jin took it over and read it. On it were the mayor's words, indicating the time and place. Su Jin and Dai Zi Shi's names were impressively written on it.

"Probably asking about our progress." Su Jin said.

"It's been half a year. Time to ask."

Su Jin looked out of the window. The autumn wind on both sides of the window was mixed with a desolate atmosphere. The air was filled with the aura of desolation, the sadness of the withering away of all living things, and also the rich harvest.
