Chapter 34: LIFE AND DEATH

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Adelle tumbled from the Crest at the top of the waterfall into the plunge pool; Leo attempted to summon the water to save Yule, but the water somehow didn't react.

"Ezra, Help my niece! use your vines, please...The water current is strong from below, she'll perish the minute she falls from the water," Leo pleaded. But she remained silent and kept a straight expression. Adelle was about to leap into the waterfalls' plunge pool.

"Please, Ezra, do something; I don't want to lose her," Leo said. But she was unconcerned. Leo notices it and prepares to jump from the crest, but Ezra grabs his hand and pulls him back. Leo's eyes widen as Adelle falls into the plunge pool.

"Don't jump... She's here," Ezra stated matter-of-factly. Leo's eyes widen as he slumps to the ground.

"What do you mean?" Leo said as he gazed down at the plunge pool.
