Chapter 106: Out Of Habit

Evan Livares observed the confused Aviana for a while and then let out a light chuckle once again. "This doesn't mean I'm changing my mind about hearing your formal answer after the exam," he said. "Just like me, you already have too much on your plate and I don't want to distract you while you should be busy studying, like that night."

Aviana Valos was still feeling a bit frustrated but she ended up nodding anyway. "Then it's your turn," she said as she slowly resumed her steps. "You said to exchange our answers while seeing me off."

Everything that happened after his exam instantly crossed Evan's mind. He knew that Aviana will be worried if he told her but... he wanted to be honest with her just like how she was with him.

"I met Edward Carson today."

All at once, Aviana halted her steps again and turned to him.

He meet Edward Carson? The calm tone he used to tell her about this crossed her mind and it almost made her angry!
