Thud—
"Have we arrived?"
As the door behind them shattered, He Ao released Feiya's hand, pulled the jade pendant from the Pirate Treasure Box that was nearly failing to hold up, placed it back on his chest, and turned his head to look around.
It seemed that they were now in a spacious corridor, with a faint soft light shining down from above their heads, illuminating the walls and the floor made of stone and metal.
This soft light came from a dim lamp overhead; it only lit a small area beneath their feet. Beyond this, there was darkness that seemed to devour everything.
"We should be."
Feiya nodded, took out a flashlight from the small bag she was carrying, turned around, and shone it behind them.
The flashlight's feeble glow illuminated the corner of the corridor, revealing a wall that blocked the entire passage.
"No doors, it looks like we can only move forward."
She said as she turned back around.
"Do you hear something?"
At that moment, He Ao asked softly.
"Hmm?"
