The two wives failed to wake up early in the morning as they were just too sleepy for anything. Alita used that time to cultivate and absorb the essence of the two and she felt the slight change as her closed-door was starting to crack.

She didn't know how many times she should do this but she was going to do it. She needed to get strong if she wanted to survive in a world filled with awakened all over.

If she is weak, she wouldn't know how she died. These strong people were capable of killing people like ants and she didn't want to go down in history like that. So, becoming strong by any means necessary was her goal.

She didn't manage to absorb everything but used the remaining time to practice her fist art and it was going on so well and it won't be long till she was capable of winning a fight by relying solely on her fists.
