Having finally got out of bed, Cherish Turner stood in front of her mirror adjusting her clothes. William Griffith rose to his feet, his voice deep as he said, "I'll pick you up tomorrow night."
Cherish assumed he meant after work, and didn't give it much thought.
The next day after work, as promised, William Griffith came to pick her up. However, instead of taking her home, he brought her to a boutique. He left her in the care of the shop staff and Cherish was treated like a life-size doll, with people applying makeup and styling her hair. After a full hour, she emerged, looking completely transformed, in William Griffith's line of sight.
With a frown, William Griffith stared at the low-cut dress and said sternly, "Change your dress! And it can't be too revealing!"
"Yes, Young Master Griffith!"
