Chapter 113: Chapter 94: Ange Noire, Ange Blanc
Kallen and Sakura were successful. Managing to extract dozens of children that were also stigmata bearers that delighted Mobius.
"Hmmm~ What a nice gift you got for me." Mobius licked her lips, scaring the children and creeping out Kallen and Sakura. "Uhhh. Ein, I think Mobius is scaring the children." Ein then sighed and pinched Mobius' side.
"She gives me the creeps. I don't even know what she'll do to the children, and I don't want to." Kallen got chills and was scared for the children, thinking that this place might be worse.
"Mobius. I already told you not to do that." He flicked her forehead and she rubbed it. "Ow! I hate it when you do that! And we'll be experimenting on them right? I can't wait to know what mutations or changes happened to them from the centuries of natural selection." She grinned and Ein pinched both of her cheeks.
"We're just getting samples to see how it developed. Then we'll improve it from there, times have changed and we aren't having an all out war." He said with steel in his voice and Mobius could only nod, remembering the crunches and endless research back then.
"As long as you understand, or I'll ban you from the labs here and will be in cleaning duty, for the toilets." She gasped, not believing his words. But his face was unchanging, only staring at her and applying silent pressure.
"Fine... You're lucky little lab rats. Such a shame that I can't give you multiple arms or something." She then got blood samples from them and quickly left, excited to improve one of their greatest creations.
"Hah, that girl sure is a handful." He shook his head, Kallen and Sakura sighed in relief as they were sure Mobius would kick their asses. Ein trained the original chasers to be the very best that would oversee his new organization in mind. Even if they were primarily researchers.
Mobius learned hand to hand combat extensively to compensate her weak physique, while her shadow constructs were improved to the maximum, she can now turn them into any weapon she wishes and rain them down on enemies while engaging in close combat. A mid range specialist.
Eden's combat prowess was pretty good, and her shockwaves were deadly. But she was still trained to the ground to increase her battle sense and reflexes. She is now the berserker of the group with immense power through her shockwaves that can cause massive earthquakes while still having elegance and poise.
SAKURA was the better swordmaster in the Dark Slayer style and with her experience in Cocoon, she quickly learned to be versatile. She also learned a forbidden technique, za warudo. She could now rend space, making her attacks ignore conventional durability. The pinkette's eyes were also given an upgrade, they received scanners that can accurately depict the material of the enemy. Giving away their weak spots that can be exploited like a bootleg mystic eyes of death. Making her number 1 in dealing with tanks and filthy shield users.
Phyllis had the best improvement and fought like a dancer. She is the most balanced, an all rounder that can stat check enemies through sheer versatility. Her dynamic vision was already good, but it was boosted to the max along with her senses. She is the executive for scouts that could handle any situation and their master spy.
Vill was tricky, she relied mostly on her gadgets and battle suits to fight. So she was made to train like Phyllis and improve 1st. And while improving her physique, they also developed more advanced armor that was a part of them.
Together with Mobius and MEI, they created a suit that was semi biological. Implanting everyone with nano tech using neutronium that floats in the blood stream and can be activated with immense speed. Encasing them in armor that was basically indestructible. After being deployed, it connects to the nerves and enhances a person's strength and reflexes even further.
It repairs damage almost instantenuously, they changed the weight to basically nothing and it fills up biological reserves for emergency healing through simple food intake. They could send messages through thought, suspend them in case of heavy injuries. Provide sustenance, a barrier that is always active like an AT field, regulated mundane body functions like excretions and sleep, turning the ones receiving it into a machine that can endlessly fight or persist until they breathe their last. If they can even die in the 1st place.
She wore a souped up version that was specially made by Ein. Vill was turned into a walking fortress that could unleash obscene firepower by releasing the bots in the atmosphere. And she can then access their armory through a subspace. Filled with anti-matter weaponry that can enter enemies and then dissolve their special coating to explode.
Ranging from anti-personnel to enough that could vaporize a continent. They also deployed low orbit energy weapons that could snipe you from any angle up above that needed magnification to even see. With the suit's support, she could also control every mech they had. From gundams to foot soldiers that use a variety of weapons. She was their army that can handle massive honkai outbreaks or extermination missions.
Aponia was given 6 weapons and turned into an Asura. With her 6 arms accompanied by her discipline, she was the one that would be sent for high value targets and human opponents that prove to be too difficult to handle by their more normal operatives. With her immense mental capabilities, Ein transferred his memories of weapon mastery and add to that. She could read the future on demand, she's a nightmare to fight and Aponia was unanimously agreed upon to be the grand duelist, only SAKURA had a chance on beating her and that is if her time stop would work.
She had a glaive and a halberd on her bottom hands. A long sword and short sword on her main hands. A massive axe and a mace at the top.
MEI can't use the key of blankness again, lacking herrscher cores. While they only have thunders of retribution back at Mobius' cult. Ein also dismissed getting them back because the will of the honkai will surely know they are back. Initiating another all out war that would surely kill majority of humans. The 12th core that he consumed was now a part of him so the will can't spy on them.
So she was turned into the anchor of their information network. She analyzed anything that would be important and will give orders if Ein's input wasn't needed. MEI was the strategist of the group and de-facto leader if Ein is unavailable. But she needs to consult the team 1st before making big decisions. It was suggested by SAKURA as she tends to be too rational and blunt like in RIN's case.
And Ein really went over the top, giving them an improved version of SWARA that worked in tandem with their bio suits. The girls were now not only strong as hell, nimble, nigh unkillable, and unbeatable in combat.
And one of their best discoveries is how to make ICHOR that could be given like candy. With Ein's new powers from the 12th herrscher. He can turn a part of his body into microscopic organisms that would overpower the honkai genes. Then combine it with the patient so they could integrate without risks. As he is the one doing all the work in the 1st place.
And the 1st recipient was decided to be Kallen, according to Mobius. She could fit one more honkai gene due to the dilution of Parvati's through the generations and Vishnu's was found to be the most compatible. Though because of Vishnu's violent adaptive traits, it was held off for now.
While Sakura refused to have honkai genes. She agreed to undergo two more stigmata implants after more research and a surgery that would change her bones into neutronium. She said that she will pursue the ultimate art of the sword as a human. Wanting to become proficient enough with it to fight Ein reliably by using pure skill and the sword.
"Yosh, kiddies. How about I make you into killing machines that can destroy anything in your way?" He was planning on making the kids their agents for their new company and organization, Aesir corp. Even the office workers would be able to fight emperor class honkai beasts without a sweat barehanded. That would be their minimum requirement to classify as an employee.
"Ein..." Kallen and Sakura deadpanned at him and thought he was crazy. The kids didn't really get him and just looked at him. "Ahem, allow me to explain. You will be just like your big sister Kallen here, very strong and have cool powers! You can go kapow and boom, and no one would bother you anymore. You will live pretty well and can branch out to other career choices along the way."
The kids heard the cool powers and that they won't be bothered by anyone anymore. "Ein-niichan! Is that for real? Will we get strong like sister Kallen?" A girl asked. They always wanted to be in the valkyrie order and heard her legend.
"Umu, the big sisters would be your leaders. You can fight with them too in the future when you get strong enough. And you will be my deliverers of justice against the baddies!" He made a pose and the kids easily bought it.
Kallen and Sakura sighed, they can't stop it anymore. As long as the kids would be fine, there's no problem they thought. "Okay! Let's have a nice meal for now, who wants meat! And not just in a bland soup. Lots and lots of meat and sweets!" The malnourished kids cheered, he then took out a large table and set out steaks for them.
Being stigmata bearers, they are voracious eaters. Their body was different and they started to eat with proper manners because of Aponia watching them. They ate in bliss and thought he was the best.
"Don't worry! You can eat that everyday, so you'll grow big and strong." They were surprised, but it was a pleasant one as they continue to enjoy the feast like it was their last.
"Aponia, I want you to implant loyalty on them while also giving them the drive to improve. Not too crazy, just that they won't slack, comfort breeds weakness." Aponia did her thing and the kids were easily influenced. They were the next generation that would be his arms and legs after all.
Kallen agreed, it wasn't really drastic and they would surely grow up well. Sakura became excited and wanted to teach some of them to be her proteges.

In a meeting, they were all seated in a round table. "Our core has been made and we can now do simple missions. Sakura, Kallen, I want you to be 2 sides of the same coin. Kallen is going to missions that have tons of civilians involved and your main priority is to protect, find stigmata bearers as much as you can as well. I'll give you a device that can inform you of their presence in a 100 km radius."
Kallen nodded and was fired up, it was her turn to finally save people. "Sakura, you'll be the exterminator of the organization. Anything harmful is yours to dispose, you both would be the commanders of your own legions. Separate the kids depending on what they want, Sakura's legion would grow later when the kids grow up so don't worry."
"So? Do you have missions for us?" Sakura asked and he took out a map of the world. In the screen multiple black and white circles were seen. "Sakura, you handle the black ones. Kallen, the white ones. Destroy all honkai beasts and prepare to sortie." He gave them papers about their mission and was given a signature look when they equipped their suits.
Kallen's was a white halo that was at the back of her head. Shining like the sun with 12 dials, Sakura's was black, with 8 moon phases and a total solar eclipse in the middle. The higher the dials and moons, the higher the rank. They signify their status as commanders.
The 2 then sortied to their designated missions while being watched over by MEI. Kallen's was to spread a cure all over Europe, an aerosol virus that has one single target. The plague, she appeared from nowhere and people could only see her bright halo, wherever she went. The plague started receding and that day was known as the descent of a white angel of deliverance. Curing the plague and attacking any honkai beast that appeared.
While Sakura roamed war torn countries. Cutting down corrupt leaders and their associates, syndicates that plagued the masses, people in power abusing their political connections, even monarchs. People knew her as the black angel of retribution. And the shady organizations either stopped, or were cut down mercilessly.
Ein and Phyllis then took over their networks. Taking over the world bit by bit, gathering stigmata bearers and people with good honkai resistance as much as they could to build an unshakeable foundation in the world.

It was Ein's turn to teach the kids. Mobius was strict and insulted them when they didn't get the lesson, complaining to the others that children are stupid and she always got it the 1st time since she was born.
Everyone deadpanned at her and immediately relegated her to checking papers. MEI was too detailed and would go deeper than what the subject was to explain everything. So she was sent to the back as well, relegated to managing staff and schedules.
Aponia, Sakura, Eden, and Ein were the main teachers for general ed and Vill was the crazy chemistry teacher. Making stuff explode in the classroom that almost blew the students up.
They listened attentively because they didn't see him often and he was idolized by the children. "Okay kids, number one rule while wrapping up a battle?"
One stood up immediately and raised her hand. "Ooh, it's to double tap Ein-sensei! Take their heads off, dismember them limb from limb, and destroy vitals as much as possible!" She said with a smile on her face.
Ein clapped and gave her a cookie that made the others jealous as hell. "Very good, that's one of the most important rules okay? Always remember that, good opponents. Are dead ones." They then wrapped up classes and immediately started recess and to play, which is sparring. And after that, they can do anything, they especially liked video games.
"Ahhh, such good students. They grow up so fast, they'll be killing honkai beasts and people in no time." He shed a tear while Kallen hit him from the side, to no effect on him and cracked knuckles from her.
"What the hell are you teaching them Ein!" She got angry and Ein just looked at her like she was crazy. "What? It's pretty good advice if you ask me. Go ask Sakura, she'll agree with me."
Kallen looked at Sakura and she nodded. "You don't want them to come back and stab you from behind Kallen. That will get you killed, and we know that's a pretty cliche phenomenon." She shrugged.
Kallen narrowed her eyes at them and just sighed. "I know, but. Is it really necessary?" He patted her back. "What would you want? Their safety, or the enemy's? It's fine, they won't shoot or stab someone without reason anyway." He then healed her broken knuckles and walked away.
"I hate it when he makes sense." Sakura chuckled and agreed. "Umu, well. Let's just watch over them, Aponia has taught them with good manners and Eden instilled calmness and elegance in them." The kids were mature, rarely getting into fights and they can talk it out when there were problems.
"But he's going to be in the sea for some time huh? He did say that they made great progress on Adamantine." He was scheduled to go inside the sea of quanta to gather the energy there that they named Null, as everything affected it to a certain degree gets swallowed to nihility.
Ein then quickly entered the sea and started his experiments with Adamantine, trying different sources of null energy to evolve the metal he gathered.
But while waiting for results, he sensed a signal that was distorted. "Hmm? That signal is similar to how ELF gives an SOS. They exist other bubble universes as well huh? Makes sense." His curiosity was then piqued as he only started and the experiment wasn't done yet. So he went into the bubble universe that the signal was from.
He saw only dry earth and the land looked like it was sterilized. "Honkai cleaned up here it seems." Then Ein noticed the familiar ELF that quickly went near him with curiosity. (Pic here)
"What is this plus sized monster thingy?" They looked at him and whispered. "I've never seen this before, izzit a living form? Will it eat us!? " Another one shouted in a panic.
"Hey you, are you a human?" A white haired ELF asked. "Yes, yes I am." The little androids then got baffled. "Hooman?" "Whoman?" "Oooman?" (Pic here)
"Hey, why are you ELFs so mean!?" The white haired one that was floating asked them. The little ELFs then started to doubt him. "Humans are extinct, this must be the work of Jingwei's wings again. The last time she showed us a human it exploded, it wasn't even organic." They then started to leave and the white haired ELF fumed. "NOOO! I'm not lying, this time this human is super real! He's a living organic being" She then went close to him.
"Tch, don't mind them. They're just ignorant, I am the elegant and smart historian Jingwei's wings! I know about you humans, you existed here a long time ago. Some millennia perhaps? But anyway, may I offer you a drink? Diesel or gasoline?" She had some diesel on hand that looked like melon soda and some gasoline at the other. (pic here)
"I'm fine thanks. Why are the humans extinct anyway?" She then shook her head. "We don't know, they died out a long time ago. But let me guide you to our city! The city of the ELF."
He followed her to a large tree that was hollow. Housing different kinds of the androids, it was the only sign of plant life and was powered by solar panels.
"Since you're our human guest, allow me to show you the paradise of the ELFs. The solar powered tree with battery charging functions!" He deadpanned at her and thought they were too literal with the naming.
They then entered and he saw a village of the little androids inside the hollow tree. They then stumbled upon a building that had a signage saying style.
"What's that over there?" Tons of ELFs were lining up to enter the place so he got curious. "Ohh, that's the reset house! ELFs enter that place to start their lives anew and change their appearance. They mostly reference this outfit on an ancient tome called titled fashion." He was handed a magazine that had different ELF retrofits and avatar templates.
"I'm a dedicated scholar so I only wear my raiment of Shenzou for at least 10 thousand years. I would be number one for outfit loyalty probably."
They then toured the other places but quickly finished as it wasn't a big place anyway. "Hmm, now let me show you our holiest place, we offer our prayers and precious belongings for a good year. And yes! We call it the majestic temple!"
It was small and just reached his chest, with a dome like roof and an entrance that could fit him when he crouched or crawled. "I see, it's majestic indeed." He chuckled and went inside.
"Within the majestic temple, we were left this holiest relic by our creator! Legends say that the secret of ELF creation lies within." She showed an old ass computer that had a wide monitor still. He booted it up and there was a password, so he tried entering some random ones.
"Unfortunately, our creator left a one word riddle that baffles us to this day. You're a human as well, maybe you know the answer to password? Let me know when you are done, I'll bring you something to drink. How about a high octane cocktail? Right, you humans consume organic matter, I'll get you some instant rubber then."
Ein ignored her and started to guess again and again. But it was difficult so he hacked into the computer and was shown a video of a person wearing a lab coat. With blue hair and a small streak of red in front. Someone he knew from the previous era.
"I'm doctor Einstein, the human race now faces a doomsday event called the honkai that is unprecedented. You'll be shown a project that may play a crucial role in our endeavors to defeat the honkai."
It then started to show how the ELF were made, the civil war that almost broke out but was fortunately stopped by another notable person and the appearance of the 9th herrscher that almost cracked the planet in half. With the continent of Mu as an unfortunate target.
"We managed to escape via the sea of quanta while Dr. Ein delayed the pseudo black hole about to devour us, but it was already too late. The herrscher's final attack irradiated the continent with vast amounts of honkai energy, and without the 4th divine key. We were hopeless to stop the inevitable."
Ein gasped and put the pieces together. This was the continent of Mu and Einstein escaped here to this bubble universe.
"We've tried copying Dr. Mei's project sanctuary that Dr. Ein told us about, but time was limited and we don't know how much energy we can gather before entering cryosleep. The tree that gathers solar energy is surely not enough, and I do not know how long we can last. The ELFs, my creation are tasked to at least bring some fuel to keep the cryopods going once a year. But I do not know if they can function for that long. Use this knowledge to defeat the honkai, please treat my creations well."
The video ended and Ein immediately deleted the footage so Jingwei's wings won't accidentally see it.
He located the cryopods deep underground and unearthed them one by one. They were still working, but just barely. And dozens have succumbed to honkai energy that they were infected with.
Finding Einstein, he quickly froze her body and diagnosed her situation. "She's irradiated with honkai energy and is dying. Phew, at least I can still fix this." He transformed his hand to viruses and entered her body, repairing it fairly quick then thawed Einstein.
Stimulating her brain, she slowly opened her eyes and blinked. "Ugh, where am I? Was it a success? Is the honkai gone?" She looked around in a daze and saw long silver hair. Locking eyes with him, giving her a tender smile.
"Hey Ein-chan, had a good sleep did ya? It's time to wake up though?" She froze and didn't move for a few seconds. Staring straight at him and blinking.
"Einheri? Is that really you? Why are you here!? Is the honkai defeated? How much time passed!?" She started questioning and he flicked her forehead.
"One question at a time lady. And yes it is me, I got curious and went here, the honkai is still active but I got a plan to end it all, you were in cryosleep for at least 50000 years I reckon."
She almost choked on her saliva. "50... Millennia?" He waited for the mop head to calm down and started to explain what happened.
"I see... It must have been rough, well... What should we do? Can we escape from here?" She knows humans can't live there even if 50 thousand years have passed.
"Eh, I got that covered. How about we go back to earth for now with all the ELFs here? We have a base that I created and it is much much bigger than the ELFs city here." He chuckled and Einstein just nodded, if he could fight the 14th. Then it was easy to go back.
He then gave her a hug and stroked her surprisingly soft hair that was always messy. "Welcome back Einstein, now how about we return home?" They gathered all the ELFs and the little androids thanked him for bringing back their creator.
"Now what did you say back then? You'll return and you wanted to hang out more?" He snickered and she frowned. She was prepared to die, but miraculously survived just barely.
"Let's go Ein-chan, you would be good friends with Vill, Mobius, and MEI for sure." They then teleported back to the base with a plethora of little androids in tow.
