"What took both of you so long?" Zell asked as they were already settled on the table along with Jan.

"We already take our orders." Jan said.

"It's fine. We just discussed something." Maria said and went to the counter where the Filipino delicacies were displayed in neat array. As she was picking for something, Zeronis materialized behind her.

"Pick me some too." He said.

"You can actually choose here." She said pointedly.

"I don't know much about your food around here." He reasoned out.

"You cooked me sinigang, remember?" She said, turning to the sale's person behind the counter. 

"That's the thing I mastered cooking." He said and watched her looking around the options in front of them.

"Can I have these three, please?" she pointed at Lumpiang Shanghai, the Tortang Talong and pork adobe. "Do you have garlic rice?"

"Yes, ma'am." 

"I'll have two." Maria said, feeling so hungry.
