Standing in the dressing room, Charlotte Cooper suddenly felt a bad premonition for some reason. Frowning, she quickly left the room. As she walked away, she tried to figure out the reason behind her unsettled feeling.

Outside the dressing room, the door opened softly and Henry Russell walked in with a tense face.

"What do you mean there's no one?"

Henry called Charlotte and got no answer, so he sent someone to knock on the door. Since the best man was nearby, he opened the door.

Unexpectedly, it was the hotel manager who entered, sweating heavily and looking nervous.

"Well, there really is no one. The makeup artist was afraid something had happened, so she told us. I've already asked security to check the surveillance system..."

Henry didn't wait to hear the explanation and dashed out after hesitating for a second.

The hotel manager stood there dumbfounded, and the best man dragged him along.

It was no use for the manager to explain to the best man.
