The next morning, Charlotte Cooper woke up, washed and brushed, and Henry Russell came over to call her for breakfast. Charlotte was in high spirits because Harold Nixon was willing to help.

Henry Russell saw that Charlotte had been cheerful since she came downstairs, and he couldn't help but laugh. Indeed, she was still like a child.
