Having discussed their travel plans and departure location with Christian, Henry Russell and Charlotte Cooper returned home. Seeing their cozy home and their long-missed bed brought them great joy.
Gleeful, Charlotte threw herself onto the bed, only to feel a sudden coldness envelop her. Despite the chill, she found it oddly comforting.
Rolling around on the bed, she exclaimed, "Ah, this is so soft and comfy! There's nothing better than being at home. This bed can't compare with those outside."
Chuckling, Henry said, "Well, you didn't take a shower, change clothes, or tidy up at all when you got home. You just plopped down onto the bed. Don't you care about your image?"
Frowning at Henry, Charlotte retorted, "I'm in my own home! Can't I relax in bed? Besides, it's just you and me here. Why put on a show of elegance?"
