Chapter 28: Tutoring

In the library.
"Hey, what are you reading?"
Ishigami got curious about Fujiwara's book so he asked for the title.
"N-no, nothing. It's just a love story. Focus on answering that and I will check it if it's good then teach you for the wrong answers."
With a bit of guilt, Fujiwara replied as she looked away.
The quote that she read is something she currently goes through.
Yesterday, Shinomiya asked about his studies.
Talking about his grades for being average and out of nowhere, Shinomiya advised Ishigami to let someone tutor him.
Ishigami is confused about why Shinomiya is forcing him but he remembers that he didn't listen to his lessons because he is lost thinking about the "events" that happened to him recently.
He reluctantly accepts her advice but they didn't expect that Shinomiya would volunteer to tutor him.
"It's my idea so I'm quite obliged about it and we know each other. It will be more convenient for you to be taught by someone you know rather than find a stranger to teach you, right?"
He thought she was right so he didn't reject her.
His response made Fujiwara so stunned that she unconsciously asked if it was okay to also teach Ishigami every after school on Wednesday like her.
At this moment, Fujiwara learns how scary Shinomiya is when her eyes are full of intense killing aura directed at her.
However, instead of retreating, she faces her and forces herself between them.
Despite her goofiness, Fujiwara is one of the top students so she truly has the right to teach Ishigami.
Meanwhile, Shirogane didn't take part since he has a part-time job so he is out of the picture.
Unfortunately, he still has no idea that something is going on between the three of them.
"Here, some tea."
Shinomiya handed over a tumbler to him.
"Thank you, Senpai."
"You're welcome."
He pauses to answer and drinks the tea.
Meanwhile, the two girls look at each other, smiling without any talk.
However, this scene makes Ishigami shiver for some reason so after he drinks, he focuses on the paper he holds, to answer the test they give for him.
Despite this silent rivalry, Shinomiya is still not conscious of her feelings while Fujiwara still rejects her feelings.
Truly, women are strange creatures.
Fighting without any clear reason.
'As his Senior, I'm obliged to help him.'
Shinomiya's thought.
'I'm afraid that Ishigami will do strange things. That's all.'
Fujiwara's thought.
Yeah… they have a reason… more like an excuse.
Anyway, while this happened, Shirogane was in the convenience store, servicing the customers.
He gives his all to have some money while he has no idea that the girl he is interested in, has already made a move with the guy he helped with his problem when he was still in middle school.
Truly, what a great friend.
Hopefully, Ishigami and Shirogane's friendships might last forever.
After studying, they part away at the gate after they farewell to each other.
"See you tomorrow, Ishigami-kun."
"See you tomorrow!"
"See you tomorrow, Shinomiya-senpai, Fujiwara-senpai."
Shinomiya and Fujiwara enter the car while Ishigami starts to walk.
