3: Narad, The Unbound able! Literally!!
-Warning! A high mana zone was detected! Unable to proceed any further!
Came the A.I.'s Warning. Which prompted me to look around. I saw a huge lone mountain right in front of me. It was huge and a part of it towards the top was covered with snow as well. The excitement that had subsided throughout my journey, blazed again as I saw the scenery before me. I exited the vehicle which couldn't go any further and started climbing the lone mountain.

2 days later.
Two days!!! It took me two days to get to the top! What had I even expected? I was going to climb a fu*king mountain! To top it all off, being the dumbass that I was, had completely forgotten that hunger was a thing! So for the last two and a half days, I hadn't eaten or drunk anything. The Ghoul like face that I possessed when coming to this world had degraded even more.
My charm stat had also dropped a rank which made me feel immense anguish on my current predicament. However, that also made me quite surprised since I remember writing something about stats dropping after extreme physical exertion like if my stat were at {A}, which I wish was true, will drop to {A-} or even lower to like {B+}. I remember making this setting to stop any side character from becoming a one-man army like the MC or supporting. This also made me speculate on what was Seal inside of me truly sealing.
Not to brag or anything, but by the virtue of being the creator of this world, I knew the most about this world. And I also knew that only a few high tier races were an exception to this rule along with the MC. While I was clearly human. Right?
So anyway, I thought it may have been due to my perk as a transmigrator and went along with climbing the mountain.

The top of the mountain was flat like a plateau and was covered with snow.
Looking at the circular plateau of diameter 100m, I let out a chuckle full of ridicule towards the various power-houses of this world.
Why? Because the grave of one of the most powerful beings in the Universe's history lies on this deserted planet.
Walking towards the centre of the plateau I readied myself for what was about to happen.
Spoiler, this mountain actually has a hollow cavern just beneath this plateau since this mountain used to be a volcano but currently is no longer active.
After reaching the exact centre of the plateau, I took a deep breath and with all my strength, I jumped.
*Crack! Crack!*
Due to the snow piling on this plateau, the top of the cavern, which was already quite thin, started cracking as I landed a metre deep in the snow, face first.
*Boom!!!*
Ultimately with a bang, the ground beneath the snow gave in and with a small platform beneath me, I fell for a few seconds and finally...
*Thudddddd!!!!!*
With a large thud, the platform came to a stop. I, who was atop it, had already prepared for the impact, so I braced myself and got logged even deeper in the snow with the impact.
I stayed put where I was since I could hear some large stones dropping from above. After a few moments, I tried to get myself out of the snow since I couldn't hear the sound of any more stones dropping from above anymore. Trying to get out of the snow was another hassle in on itself but after struggling for a bit, I finally got out.
Looking around, I was happy with what I saw, the scenery was just like how I had described it in the novel, The surrounding walls were full of dark volcanic rocks. The place looked quite good in the dark sense with all the black spikey rocks and a thick smell of sulfur in the air.
In this 'darkness' with only a small entrance for light at the top, there was a smaller cave near me with a bit of luminescence exiting it.
Seeing that, I knew, I had reached my goal. My excitement was at its all-time high. I carefully ran towards the cave and entered it.
Inside the cave, I saw a plant, the plant looked pretty normal except for the fact that it was glowing and had grown in such an environment. The more bizarre fact about the plant was that a kiwi like green fruit was growing from the plant. Besides the plant, there was a thick black chain that layed on the ground.
I didn't mind the chain since I knew the chain was not a threat for me at the moment.
I walked towards the plant, or at least I tried to walk. The light that I wanted to start with had already turned into a full sprint before I knew when.
While I was writing the novel 'From Zero to Hero in my past life, I decided on adopting both eastern and western power systems and came up with something that I can proudly say was 'Original'. I divided power ranks by stars with 1-star being the lowest and 5-star being the highest. Each star corresponded to three stat levels i.e. for 1-star, there are three different levels each indicated by alphabets {I},{H} and {G}. Each level was again further divided into a {+}, {-} and { } with a single exception being I which has an {I--} stat, which is reached when the body is thoroughly exhausted. All stats follow this pattern with the only exception being charm and mana which follow unique rules.
Also, there are various conditions to be met for each rank up which gets stringent with the increase in rank. Like for someone at 4-star rank to reach 5-star, they have to understand a certain universal law or any philosophical law. When these power-houses at the 5-star rank die, Their understanding of the law or philosophy doesn't die with them. It changes into various things from artefacts, skill books to various fruits. Among which fruits are the rarest. How rare? As rare as a person being born with partial white hair which is roughly 1 in 18,000. You get the point, it's super rare. Its value is further uplifted by the fact that there is a 100% chance of the person who consumes these fruit gaining the law of philosophy associated with the fruit and easily being able to reach the 5-star rank without much hassle. The fruit in front of me was even more special as the Philosophy this fruit was associated with was 'Freedom'.
What was that??? You think it's nothing special? Well, think again. This philosophy belonged to one of the scariest existence I created in this world, Narad. He could roam all over every part of the cosmos unhindered. Be it the Demon territory, the Human territory, the Elvish territory, he could roam through them like it was his backyard. No seal, lock or door could stop him. Despite being one of the strongest beings in the universe he was quite a mischievous character and would leak Everyone's secrets. The Demons were so fed up with it that they created a chain from the nucleus of a neutron star with the help of the best dwarven blacksmith, Cursed it with the strongest curses of the abyss races, and the demon lord himself dropped a level to imbue power in that chain.
They were successful in capturing Narad with the chain. But even chained, Narad escaped with only light injuries with his whereabouts not being known after. This is true only for the other people, only I, who created the character knew the whole truth! Narad after escaping came to this deserted plant and tried to escape the darned chain and was, in fact, successful in escaping the clutches of the chain but in the process, he had ignited his vitality. Vitality ignition is a common technique for anyone who has reached 2-star, however, this skill has a big draw-back, the vitality stat decreases until it reaches {I--} after which it is without a doubt 'Certain Death'.
You get the gist of it! The fruit is super broken, more so because nothing will be able to restrict your freedom, no mind skills, no control skill, no even the individual race itself! This is also the reason why no one ever knew what the true race of Narad was and couldn't find a counter.
In the 'Novel' I had given it to a thief who later becomes a part of the protagonist's harem.
'Well, I guess I'll be the one to take it this time.'
I thought to myself as I slowly reached towards the fruit and gently plucked it. The moment I did so, the plant turned into ashes leaving only the fruit behind. I couldn't stop myself any longer and ate the fruit the size of a small kiwi in a single bite.
*Crunch!*
The outside layer had a bit of an unexpected crunch to it while the inside was jelly-like and sweet.
'So this is what freedom tastes like?!'
I mused to myself as I continued to indulge myself in this heavenly feeling.
*Gulp*
With a big gulp, I swallowed the fruit. It felt as though a warm current was coursing through my oesophagus. Sending a warm current through my oesophagus the warm current reached my stomach which was craving food for the last 2 and a half days.
But the moment the warm current reached my stomach... a huge change occurred!!!
The warm current turned violent! the moment it did so, I felt immense pain! Indescribable pain! Enough to turn any sane person insane! And I passed out...
