Chapter 261: Thirty years ago

Shaking his head, Alex pushed the door open and stepped in without knocking. He had expected to meet the office the same way he had stumbled upon it a few years back with anime action figures and rows of comics on the side, what he met instead was a normal office with a bit of gloominess in the air.

"What happened here…gramps?" Alex asked as he walked towards the old man who had his face hidden behind his hands while massaging his forehead.

Raising his head to look at him, the Dean stared at Alex with slightly red eyes.

"I heard what happened…how are you?" He asked in a hoarse voice.

Alex stared at him for a moment before replying.

"I'm okay" 

"The twins?"

"They don't know yet" Alex replied and took the seat in front of the Dean.

Who was he kidding? Inform the old man? He was the oldest member of the family for goodness sake, Alex believed he had discovered what happened since last night.
