Chapter 247: Their progress

Veins popped up on Alex's face when he heard this, he already knew it was true but had chosen to ignore it. Still, she dared to bring it up. 

"Looks like someone needs to be disciplined, again," Alex said in a low grunt and Zero immediately went mute.

Alex snorted at her cowardice and then turned to the kids, his face was instantly replaced with a bright smile as he called both kids over.

"Alright, you two, enough running around. Come show me how much you two have grown the past few weeks" Alex gestures for them to come at him.

The two kids ran up to him while laughing pleasantly, Wendy stuck her cheek to Kai's cheek as she waved her small hand above their heads.

"Look look! Big brother, I have grown taller than Kai in just a few weeks. I will be as tall as big brother soon, having magic is awesome!" Wendy said as she showed Alex her height.

Kai did not take it easy, he pushed Wendy away from him and pouted.
