Chapter 16: Chapter 14: Memories

Chapter 14: Memories
They did as I said and touched the [Boosted Gear] with their hands and closed their eyes while trying to send their consciousness inside it. I also did the same and sent my consciousness inside the gear and then used soul magic.
When I opened my eyes a moment later, I found myself seated on a couch with Ray and Cleria beside me as we floated in a dark space.
"Girls you can open your eyes now, "I said to the two of them, as they opened their eyes they started curiously looking around, only to see endless darkness.
"What is this place Master," asked Ray.
"This is a temporary soul dimension I have created where we can see Ddraig's memories in the form of a movie. Inside this place, time moves 60 times faster than outside," I answered Ray's question.
"Now, let's start the show," I said as I created a white screen in front of us and Ddraig's memories started playing on it, in the form of movies on the white screen.
It took us 120 hours to watch all of Ddraig's memories and we found out many shocking things.
One of them was that Ddraig is actually a female dragon. It's only due to her neutral voice in her dragon form that no one has ever suspected it in the past. Only Albion and Tiamat were aware of it with this also being the reason for the fight between her and Albion.
Albion was a male dragon whereas Ddraig was a female, and since she was the only female dragon that was at the same power level as him. He challenged her many times to fight so that he could beat her and be her mate. But she was a bit stronger than him so it always ended with him beaten to a half-dead state by her.
Their fight during the three-way war between the three factions was also because Albion challenged her again to be her mate, we all know how it ended with both of them dying and their souls being trapped in [Boosted Gear] and [Divine dividing] respectively.
In Ddraig's memories, I also find out that she is also very kind to innocents as she used to be the guardian of the Familiar forest with Tiamat, her only friend, before her death.
Now Tiamate hates Ddraig and it is not because of a shity reason like Ddraig used in Tiamate's treasure in her last fight with Albion and those treasures are now spread all over the world after her death. It was just her way to let out her frustration.
In reality, Tiamat was the one who offered her treasures to Ddraig to used them in her battle against Albion but when she got the news of Ddraig's death she was angry of herself that it was her fault that Ddraig died because she doesn't give her enough of her treasure to save her life.
After seeing all this I make all of us exit the soul dimension and when we come to our senses we all feel a slight pain in our head as a side effect of the technique but it quickly vanishes.
After a moment of silence, Cleria asked me, "So what are you going to do, now that we have found out that 'she' is kind and she only killed all those innocent beings during the three-way war because she doesn't want to be defeated by Albion and become his mate."
After thinking a little I said, "I will not erase her memories neither will I fuse her soul with mine I will just attach the [Boosted Gear] to my soul and use it as a proper Sacred Gear."
Cleria and Ray also nodded at my decision, then I first erased all the emotions of its past hosts that accumulated inside it over time.
Then I created a Shadow clone and used parallel processing to control it and started attaching [Boosted Gear] with my soul which took less than 10 seconds.
After the attachment of [Boosted Gear] with my soul is finished, a connection is established between us.
Then I try to activate the [Boosted Gear] by concentrating on it, and in just 3 seconds a red elbow-length gauntlet appeared on my left arm with a green gem on the back of my parm with ten golden spikes lining in two lines that run from the back of my hand to my elbow.
Then I tried to sense Ddraig and found out that her soul is sleeping for now but she will wake up before tomorrow.
Then I tried to use its boosting ability and the gem on the gauntlet glowed, it let out a [Boost] sound, and then I found that my power was doubled.
Then I concentrate on the gauntlet on my left hand and after a moment of searching I found out that I can already use [Boost] and [Transfer] ability of it as for the [Balance Breaker] & [Juggernaut Drive], their existence has been erased with the emotions of the past hosts.
Then I deactivated the [Boosted Gear] but my doubled power was still left in my body so I moved closer to Ray and placed my hand on her chest.
Seeing my actions Ray asked in confusion, "Master what are you doing?"
"it's just that even after deactivating the boosted gear my doubled energy doesn't dissipate so I am putting it to good use by using it to increase your level."
Then I started channeling my excess energy into Ray and started the process to strengthen her very being while increasing her level.
As I was concentrating on strengthening Ray. Ray herself was feeling that her body is getting hotter and hotter with every passing second and her face started reddening and she started breathing faster and faster.
