Don Blaire's anger worsened, his gaze sweeping over the small crowd gathered at Stargaze Inn. The news would spread quickly.

He ordered his spies to locate Vincent Carey again, then left with Gerald and Peter for his family estate. The consecutive slaps had worsened his mood.

Before his spies found anything, he needed rest. Gerald and Peter were equally relieved, eager for their young master to return to the Clan and answer to the Clan Head.

Not long after their departure, the crowd gathered in front of the destroyed inn. The inn owner, Sam, knelt before the wreckage, his eyes lifeless.

Seeing him bruised and bloodied, the locals began to comment.

"It's a pity. Old Sam's inn was destroyed. He's completely bedridden now."

"Yeah, even as a wizard, his mind is deeply hurt. It'll take a long time to recover."

"Blaire Clan's Young Master is lawless. He destroyed an innocent's business for no reason."
