Martha was looking at her son when she saw the smile appear on his face and she followed his gaze to find it near the living room.

"I will be Damned" Martha muttered as Nikka walked into the dinning hall.

Asher stood up and pulled out a chair for her.

"I knew you were going to come" Asher said as she sat down.

Nikka smiled nervously before putting her pulse on her lap. "I almost didn't" she said honestly.

"Well, you made the right choice" Asher said and went around to sit down.

"Did she? I mean did she make the right choice?" Pepper asked 

"Pepper" Asher called her name in-between his clenched jaw.

Pepper dimmed her eyes at Nikka, she was holding her spoon so tightly.

"You just chose dinner over millions of dollars, girl…are you sure you are okay?" Pepper asked Nikka.

Nikka smiled awkwardly before she answered "They are more important things in life"
