"I hope they know you saved both their asses, Mr. Knight"

Asher sat down and crossed his leg. "No and it will very much stay that way, Mr. Bank manager"

Pepper made it all the way to the car before she remembered she had to make some deposits in the bank. And since her life was secured and she didn't have to spend some time in prison, she was grateful enough to want to stay back and pay some bills and make some deposit to Starr's school account.

"Thank you, Kurt. Without you…without you I would probably find myself in an orange jumpsuit and orange is not really my color" 

Pepper didn't mean to but she just found herself hugging Kurt near where they parked the car they came in.

She felt the relief flood her entire system that even the hair on her neck stood upright like on cue. She was so grateful and relieved that she buried her face in his chest.
