Lumine was pondering the entire way about how she should complete the Test.

No matter how much confidence she had in her strength, she knew it was extremely difficult to win with a single move and without scratch at the same time when facing 25 enemies altogether.

By the time she was near the camp, she hid herself in the bush and was scouting their camp.

'Lumine: So, how should I do it. Kill the Archer and Shooter first before taking care of the remaining ones OR kill Normal and Fighter Hilichurl first since it will be faster.'

As she was pondering about it, Lumine noticed that one of the Hilichurls was somewhat away from the others. It seemed bored and was just wandering around.

Suddenly a plan began to form in her mind.

While still being hidden, Lumine circled around the around the camp and reached a few meters away from that Hilichurl.

She picked up a very tiny piece of rock and threw it at it.

FWOOSH!!

TAK!

Hilichurl 1: ???

The rock hit the Hilichurl who looked at the rock on the ground in confusion. It then turned its head to where it came from.

Considering it was a very small piece of rock, it didn't do any damage to it. Though because it had nothing to do, it decided to check.

Seeing it was coming towards her location, Lumine hurriedly buried herself in the bush.

Before long Hilichurl passed by her location and started looking around.

Witnessing this, Lumine approached it slowly and slowly from behind.

When she was about to reach it, she materialized her sword and thrusted it into its back.

THRUST!!

SPLURT!!

Hilichurl 1: !!!!!!

The sword penetrated through its back and came out from the front. It didn't even get the chance to utter a sound as Lumine twisted her sword, pulled it out and the body fell.

THUCH!!

THUD!!

Looking at the bloodied dead body on the ground, Lumine's face turned slightly pale, and her hands were shivering.

For the last two years during her training, she only killed slimes. Hence, it was the first time she had witnessed such a gory scene.

FWOOSH!!

Suddenly, she heard a sound of air splitting from behind.

Without a second thought, she rolled to the side.

THUCH!!

An arrow was now struck at her previous spot. Though currently she didn't care about it since there was something else even more important.

She looked at her shoulder and her eyes widened in the next second.

There was a scratch on her shoulder. Means she failed the first challenge of remaining unscathed.

As a result, anger filled her mind as she held the handle of her sword tightly before turning and glaring at the perpetrator.

It was a Hilichurl Archer which was standing on top of Archer tower and was putting another arrow into the string.

Lumine was so focused on killing the previous Hilichurl that she didn't notice that another one was looking at her direction that time.

But instead of charging to the Hilichurl camp for revenge, she started taking deep breaths.

'Lumine: Calm down, Me. Calm down. Too bad that I failed the first challenge but there is still one more. I must clear that one.'

Once she succeeded in keeping her anger under control, she ran from her spot because others Hilichurl were rushing towards her location.

Anyone can tell that it was Hilichurl Archer that notified the others about her.

Lumine decided to be extra careful this time to not mess up the last challenge.

She kept on running for a minute and reached a place which had quite a few places to hide.

Hearing the footsteps of Hilichurl behind, Lumine hid herself behind a rock.

Soon, 19 Hilichurls reached the place. Why 19? Because the 5 Hilichurl Archers were still in the camp on their Archer tower.

They then scattered and started looking for her.

Lumine held her breath to prevent any sound from leaking from her.

She could hear the sound of Hilichurl footsteps coming at her hiding spot. She kept her back on the rock and waited patiently.

Then from the side Hilichurl Shooter appeared.

Holding her sword tightly, Lumine was about to attack it when she heard another Hilichurl coming.

Stopping herself, she crouched down praying that the Hilichurl Shooter didn't turn its head in her direction.

It was as if her prayers were heard as the Hilichurl Shooter continued walking forward, leaving the rock where Lumine was hiding behind.

She held her urge to take a sigh of relief because another one was approaching from the different side.

This time, she was not lucky since Hilichurl Shooter directly walked behind that rock.

Hilichurl 2: ...…

Seeing her it paused for a moment, and it was its big mistake.

Lumine moved and appeared in front of it and at the spur of moment swung her sword at its neck with her full strength.

SHIN!

THUCH!

SPLURT!

And she underestimated her strength too much cause her attack severed the Hilichurl head, and it rose high in the sky.

PSSSHHH!!!!!!!!!

And from its headless body, a fountain of blood gushed out.

Blood splattered around and most of also fell on Lumine who seemed to remain standing on her spot and was looking at the headless body of Hilichurl Shooter in daze.

This also attracted the attention of other Hilichurls, but they also came to stand still while looking at the scene.

THUD!!

SPLAT!!

Finally, the head and body fell altogether.

Yet, Lumine didn't move and kept on looking at the body and head in front.

A few seconds later.

CLING!!

THUD!!

The sword left Lumine's hand before she fell on her knees.

Her eyes and body were trembling as she was looking at her red hands.

Lumine: Aaa…Aaaaa...…

She was having a hard time breathing while her vision was becoming blurry.

Lumine: Aaaaaa.... Aaaaaaa...…

Hilichurl 3: GRAR!!

Hilichurl 4: GRR!!

Hilichurl 5: HRR!!

...

Snapping out of their state, all the remaining Hilichurl charged towards Lumine.

But just when they were about to reach and attack her…

SIU!!

BOOOM!!!!!

A lance fell from the sky the space exploded.

That space explosion crushed all the Hilichurls into nothing while Lumine remained fine.

Primis appeared in front of Lumine while behind him stood two people.

He narrowed his eyes looking at Lumine's mental breakdown.

'Primis: Looks like it was too much for her.'

"Pathetic. I guess I can expect nothing else from a Human."

Ignoring System's mocking voice, Primis crouched down at Lumine's level. Her condition was so severe that she didn't even realize what was going on around her.

'Primis: As a protagonist, her mind is a lot weaker than I thought.'

Primis: Lumine.

He called softly.

Lumine: !!!!!!!!!!

Her body trembled as she raised head and saw Primis.

It was as if she had found her spiritual support, she jumped into his arms.

Primis caught her quivering body and started patting her back and head. He could feel his shirt getting wet because of her tears.

He kept on rubbing her back to calm her.

A few minutes went by like this.

At this time, the remaining five Hilichurl archers who remained in camp could be seen rushing towards their location from the distance.

Primis ignored their presence as his focus was solely on calming Lumine right now.

Though this didn't mean others would remain standing while waiting for them.

The Herrscher of Void standing behind Primis turned her cold eyes at those Hilichurls and snapped her fingers.

SNAP!!

BANG!!

BANG!!

BANG!!

BANG!!

BANG!!

In the next instant, space crushed and erased them.

As if whatever happened around him was none of his concern, Primis kept on patting Lumine's head.

'Primis: I know it's difficult for you, but you must get used to this Lumine since the future of this world is dyed in red.'

He then stood up with Lumine in his arms.

'Primis: According to the plot, the main strength of Traveler's lies in controlling elements. But I prefer focusing on the basics first to make the foundation stronger. That's why I made you polish your swordsmanship in the last two years, Lumine. As a result, now you are a lot stronger swordswoman than you would be. I am sure that not even your brother Aether who is the current ruler of Abyss Order would be your match in swordsmanship now.'

Turning his gaze at the sunset, he continued.

'Primis: Now It's time to make your mind stronger. It might take more time, but it will be worth it. I guarantee it.'

With this, Primis started walking towards where they were staying.
