Looking at Lili and Haruhime current appearance covered in blood with cold eyes made a smile appeared on Primis face.
'Primis: Good.'
[How ruthless. How ferocious. If someone saw the current Lili and Haruhime then he or she will definitely become sacred shitless. They no longer appeared like human but-----]
'Primis: Killing Machines.'

{Ais: My Lord, other monsters are approaching them because of the scent of blood. They don't even have enough time to clean themselves. Should I----}

As Lili and Haruhime were thinking of cleaning themselves, suddenly both sensed something. Lili from the vibrations in the ground while Haruhime from the icy wind which she released. Both had a drastic change in expressions as they directly ran without a second thought.

The ground trembled behind them, but they didn't even turn and just kept on running as fast as they could. Even if they were running, they could tell that they were being followed. Haruhime released her ice magic from her feet as she covered the floor with ice while running. Lili on the other hand was running in front and was using her earth magic to create a perfect footing when she saw cracked floor or holes in the way so that it won't get in their way and decreased their speed.
After some time, the noise behind them got a bit far. Haruhime glanced back at this time and saw the horde of monsters following them. Since she became stronger than yesterday, her ice was delaying them a lot better. Though, she knew it's not enough. She turned her gaze front again and said in icy voice.
Haruhime: We can't keep running. We need to find a way to get rid of the blood on us. Otherwise, even if we succeed in running away from this horde, another horde will come after us.
Lili nodded not denying that. She then spoke in cold voice.
Lili: The only way we currently have is to jump in the river. That's also the fastest way. However, if we do that then the monsters in the river will rush towards us because of again the scent of the blood.
Haruhime: I have a plan. That way we just need to dive in the river for a second before we will jump out. Those monsters in river won't even have the time to react.
Lili: Alright, we will reach the riverbank in ten seconds or so. I will leave it to you.
Haruhime: Yes.
Then they used their full strength to reach riverbank as soon as possible. Every second count. In case they got rid of the blood and left before the monsters following them reached the river then they will lose their real target and will think that were hiding in river.
Soon, they reached the river and jumped into it.

They came out soaked in water. Though they were completely clean this time. Next, they ran before the monsters following them reached them.

Ais: J-Just, how is t-this p-possible? Blood takes time to clean. It won't just washed off if you take dip in the water.
Ais who was looking at them opened her mouth wide when she saw the completely clean Lili and Haruhime.
Sheng Ming: Amazing. Her mind is very sharp and her control over her ice magic is very precise.
Ais: Huh?
Hearing Sheng Ming words, Ais got confused and turned to her.
Ais: What do you mean, Sister Sheng Ming? I still don't understand what they did.
Sheng Ming came out of her surprise and looked at Ais.
Sheng Ming: Little Sister, what Haruhime did was freeze all the blood on her and Lili before they jumped into the river. Because the blood got frozen, that icy blood slipped out of their bodies when it met water. Now looked at the river again.
Ais stared at the river and in the few seconds the river was dyed in blood.
Sheng Ming: Because all the blood was frozen, it took time to mix with the water hence the monsters in river failed to sniff the scent of the blood in time. This allowed them to dive in and dive out without any problem.
Ais: Amazing. W-Wait a minute. Considering Haruhime 'only' froze the blood on both their bodies accurately. Doesn't this mean----
Sheng Ming: Yes. Her control on her Ice Magic has really reached a whole different level.
'Primis: Exactly. It's true that the skills they have are the strongest. But at the very beginning, they don't teach them high-level attacks but the control and precision. And the fundamentals of how that magic will affect you, others, nature, and the world. Only when you master those fundamentals, can you raise your skill.'
[Agreed. Hence, if Ais doesn't understand all the fundamentals and working of her wind magic, she can't raise it to higher rank.]

At this time, the monsters following them reached the river. Since they could no longer sniff the scent of blood from Lili and Haruhime's bodies, those monsters turned towards the river which was now dyed red. They could see many movements in water which confirmed their speculation. Too bad Lili and Haruhime were long gone by now and the movements in the water was of the water monsters trying to find their prey.

Lili and Haruhime had run to some distance by now. Once they confirmed that no one was following them, they stopped. Still, they didn't let their guard down. By now they had already learnt that a single wrong step could led to their death. So, instead of resting, Lili checked the vibrations and Haruhime checked the movements of her icy wind. When they confirmed that no monster was around for the time being, they sat down to recover their used magic.

'Primis: Time for the next step.'
Primis turned his gaze at Ophis who was sitting on his left-shoulder and said.
Primis: Do it.
Ophis: Mn.
Ophis then disappeared. Sheng Ming and Ais started to wonder what Primis told Ophis to do.
Sheng Ming & Ais: Huh?
They saw Ophis appeared behind Lili and Haruhime. She touched their back and returned to Primis shoulder in the next instant. Before they could understand Ophis action, Lili and Haruhime suddenly felt a surge of power released from full every part of their bodies.

The magic they were trying to recover was recovered instantly. They had never felt this before. However, they had a feeling that it was Primis doing so they didn't panic. They closed their eyes to get used to this new feeling of power. After some time, they opened their eyes and dashed towards a direction where they sensed the location of the monsters. They could feel that now they can take on more than one monster of this floor.
Ais: M-My Lord, did Eldest Sister gave them a buff or something?
Sheng Ming also looked at Primis wondering the same. Primis shook his head and spoke.
Primis: No. It's their own power.
Sheng Ming & Ais: Their power?
Primis: Yes. You know no matter how much you try you can't exert 100% of your power.
Sheng Ming & Ais: WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They both got shocked hearing this. Well, that's the common reaction after hearing this.
Primis: Ais even if your strength reaches max Level 5, you can't bring out its 100%. Same is case for you Sheng Ming.
Ais became completely dumbfounded. She can't believe what she was hearing. On the other hand, Sheng Ming was different. She gave it some thought before opening her mouth.
Sheng Ming: Husband, is it only the case for us or is it for everyone.
Primis: Good question. And the answer is everyone.
'Primis: Of Course if you don't put me and Ophis into equation. Since both me and her have reached Grandmaster in our skills, it provides us with infinitesimal control over our power. So, we can bring out 100% of our strength.'
Hearing Primis answer, Ais came out of her stupor and turned towards him.
Ais: No one can bring out 100% of their strength. Why?
Primis: Yes. One more thing, don't put me and Ophis in "no one". We don't face such issue.

Primis: Ophis has an ability called "Potential Release". It removed such limits put by our brain and lets you use 100% of your power. That's what she did to Lili and Haruhime.

Potential Release
Ophis can release the full potential of a person through physical contact. The nature of this ability is less of a magical boost and more of a reliever of the mechanisms that prevent one's own body from overwhelming itself with massive power output. If she does it to someone who hasn't shed blood and tears while training, that person will bulge up and explode.

Sheng Ming: That's what Eldest Sister did.
Primis: Correct. But there's more to it.
Ais also attentively listened to Primis every word.
