Chapter 31: 31: "Do you want your nephew back?"

Yuki is still curled up in Kevin's arms, and doesn't dare to turn around in case April suddenly returns. Kevin gently pats his back, "It's okay. She's gone."

Yuki slowly looks up. His face is full of worries. "Is...it okay? Won't she hurt you later?"

Kevin didn't know how to answer. Someone might be hurt by the crazy woman but that person won't be him but his loved one, Yuki. But Kevin won't say it to not worry him more. He smiles gently, "It's okay. She can't do anything to me or you."

"Really? But people said never mess with women who are obsessed with love. They can do something crazy."

Kevin laughs. He pinches Yuki's cheek. "Where did you hear that?"

"My mom used to say that."

Kevin sighs but the gentle smile that can only be seen by Yuki never ceases from his lips. "Maybe your mom is right but remember, a man in love can also kill for his beloved person."
