Chapter 27: CHAPTER 26

Karen finally spoke.

"Coffee Stalker"She whispered softly.

Damien grinned .

"What was that?"He asked with that air of superiority she despised.Karen wished he could wipe that smug smile off his perfectly structured face.

"What are you even doing here in the first place?"She asked her hands folded across her chest.She had the coffee in one hand but she didn't take any sip from it.

"I'm here to see you of course"He said.

"Oh..."Karen muttered inaudibly as the guy stared at her even more intently.The stare bore holes into her very essence but she didn't show how disturbed she felt.She beamed a fake smile and said

"What is it now?"She asked calmly.Rudeness was definitely not a solution to scaring him away .OBVIOUSLY.

"I said your name..."

"So?"She interjected impatiently .

He broke his pose and crossed his hands across his firm chest and shrugged.

"You hadn't asked me how I got your name?"
