Chapter 4: Chapter 2
(3rd pov)
Hiccup walks through the forest searching for the night fury. He looks at his book which has a simplified map of the island with a lot of places crossed out. He sighs in frustration before scribbling all over the map in anger.
"Oh the gods hate me some people manage to lose a knife or their mug but I manage to lose an entire dragon" he shouts as he smacks a branch only for it to come back and hit him in the face, "ow!" He looks up and sees the tree is broken in half and nearly uprooted.
He walks over the trench left behind and looks over a small hill and sees the night fury and immediately ducks down before looking again and seeing it's tangled up with the bola he shot at it last night.
He takes out his knife and cautiously walks up to it.
"Oh, wow this fixes everything, I have brought down this mighty beast." He says excitedly as places his leg on the dragon only for it to move scaring him as he points his knife at it and see the dragon staring back at him.
"I'm gonna kill you dragon. I'm gonna cut out your heart and take it to my father, I'm a Viking" he says as takes a deep breath and raised his hands above his head with the knife before looking at the dragon and the fear in its eyes. He tries to ignore it but gives up in the end.
"I did this," he says as he tries to walk away but he looks back at the tangled dragon and decides to make a decision that he hopes doesn't get him killed. The dragon's eyes widen as it feels the rope being cut and loosen. It jumps and pins hiccup against a rock, roars in his face and tries to fly away. Hiccup stands up and takes a few steps before passing out.

(A few minutes earlier)
Hela walks into the cove where Troels is, she looks around and doesn't see him around. She suddenly feels him behind her.
She smirks before turning around quickly making Troels groan in displeasure making Hela laugh. He has been doing this for a while now and he hasn't been able to sneak up on her even once it's like she always knows where he is and he's not wrong ever since they bonded Hela has been having this feeling in her as if something changed like something awakened in her.
She also felt something else last night like a fire coursing through her veins as she glared at the Nader that sneak attacked her dad. She also remembers it flying away from her in fear but she thought she was seeing things.
"Your gonna have to do a lot better if you want to sneak up on me Buddy," she said as she patted his head before her hand moved instinctively to the back of his neck and pressed down. The fins on his spine split into 3 up to his tail making Troels peark up as he looked at his back in excitement while Hela looked at her hand surprised.
'What did I just do' she asked herself but seeing how happy Troels was she dismissed it.
"Hey, buddy why don't we go for a quick flight-" Troels didn't let her finish as he picked her up and put her on his back which had a saddle that she made before taking off a lot faster than he usually did make Hela laugh in excitement.
'I guess the additional spine fins increased his speed and now he can make sharp turns easily' Hela thought before looking at Troels who was beaming with excitement, 'I don't know what I did or how I did it but I'm happy for him'
Hela then looked at her hands 'All of this can't be a coincidence that Nader that was scared of me, the feeling I got at that moment and my connection with Troels. I wonder what else can I do with this connection I have with him other than feel what he feels and where he is' she thought before she had an idea.
She closed her eyes and focused on the connection she feels with Troels she felt her eyes sting for a bit before she opened her eyes but something was different because she was seeing in another viewpoint and her vision was a lot better than before. She was seeing through Troels eyes.
'I can't believe it worked' she thought as Troels looked at her and she could see herself, 'ok that's a bit creepy but awesome, wait' she said before focusing on her eyes they were glowing red with slits like a dragon.
"Ok let's see if this works," she said before she thought of keeping this vision but not share it with Troels. Her sight blurred for a bit before seeing in her viewpoint again but a 100 Times better.
She decided to test what she can do with a dragon's sight and discovered that if she focuses on a point she can zoom in and out her clear vision staying the same. She can also switch to heat vision and she knows she'll be able to see in the dark so night vision.
After a while, they flew over a cove in raven's point and Hela sees something black sleeping on the ground so she zooms in and sees it's another night fury but this one is a lot younger than Troels.
"So hiccup did shoot down a night fury like he said," Hela said with a frown as she see it missing tail fin meaning he wouldn't be able to fly. Troels get her attention when she looks at him she sees him looking in the direction of the forest while circling the cove.
When Hela looks in the same she sees a passed out hiccup. She tells Troels to land, she gets off of him before telling him to go back to the cove.
She checks on hiccup to see if he's injured but find nothing so she sighs in relief. She looks around them and sees hiccups knife and a bola with its rope cut so she concluded that he found the dragon tangled up and freed it and the dragon did something that made hiccup pass out 'probably due to fear'
She woke him up and the first thing he asked was if she saw something so she decided to deny it after that they headed back to the village.

They entered the house and found their dad sitting by the fire. Hela went upstairs followed by hiccup Stoick called him before standing up and walking to hiccup while Hela sat on the top stair and decided to watch.
"" I don't want to fight dragons/Its time you learn to fight dragons"" they both say at the same time making Hela chuckle.
"You go first," stoick says
"No, you go first," hiccup says making Hela facepalm.
"Alright, you got your wish dragon training first thing tomorrow," Stoick tells him.
"Oh, I should have gone first cause I was thinking that we have a surplus of dragon killing Vikings like Hela and there are not enough bread-making Vikings or small house repair Vikings" hiccup says making Hela winch at her being added to the dragon killing Vikings.
"You'll need this" stoick says handing hiccup an axe not listening to him at all.
"Dad I don't want to fight dragons," hiccup says
"Come on yes you do," stoick says with a chuckle taking what hiccup said as a joke.
"Rephrase dad I can't kill dragons" hiccup says but stoick doesn't listen.
"But you will kill dragons"
"No I am really very extra sure that I won't," hiccup says
"It's time hiccup"
"Can you not hear me?" hiccup says desperately.
"This is serious son, when you carry this axe you carry all of us which means you walk like us, talk like us and think like us no more this," stoick says gesturing to Hiccup.
"But you just gestured to all of me," Hiccup says with an eye roll.
"Deal?" Stoick asks
"This conversation is feeling very one-sided," Hiccup said.
"Deal," Stoick says seriously
"Deal," Hiccup says giving up.
"Good, train hard and I'll be back probably," Stoick says as he picks up a basket and walks to the door. "And Hela take care of brother make sure he doesn't get killed in the ring"
"Aren't I always?" Hela says making him chuckle, "Take care of yourself out there dad"
"I will," Stoick says before closing the door.
