Chapter 27: The League

"Before we begin our training," Poppy said as she turned toward Jayce. Taking out a silver-like medallion. It looks like a helmet that is covered in silver. Jayce who had played League his past life recognized the thing. It's a rank border!
"We hadn't got an official ceremony since everything happened so suddenly."
"In the organization, the hierarchy is based on strength, the stronger you are the higher your rank is. The higher your rank, the more benefits you get to enjoy."
"How many ranks are there?" Jayce asked. If the ranking system is the same as the game back in his life. Then the person who made this organization might also be a transmigrator! Just like him!
"There are 9 ranks in our organization. Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master, Grandmaster." Soraka spoke out this time.
'I KNEW IT!' He had suspicions about the League, there can't be many such coincidences. The name was fine as it is a very generic name, but the ranking is also the same. It can't be a coincidence! The guild master must also be someone who had transmigrated! But...

"Yes! Our guild master was extremely strong! If your rank is silver and the rank goes according to your strength, you can imagine how strong our guild master was! That's why no one had reached the Challenger rank in the past 200 years!" That was her idol, Poppy wished to be able to reach his level, but alas.
"You said was, did something happen to our guild master?" Jayce asked.
The atmosphere suddenly became quiet, Poppy and Soraka who were happily talking turned Solemn and depressed, looking at each other, debating whether he should know the truth.
"Our guild master disappeared," Soraka said sadly.
"We searched the entire world, including many hidden continents, but we couldn't find any trace, as if he didn't exist in the first place!" But how could a person be there and not exist at the same time, that is why the whole League went through turmoil.
'Mhm, the mysterious guild master, who could happen to be a transmigrator, disappear? Did he transmigrate back to earth?' Jayce has so many questions if he could find his fellow buddy from earth that transmigrated, wouldn't they be best friends!?
"Enough of that, let's move on. Since you are a silver border, you can get the following benefits:

Jayce hearing his benefits, stood there in a stupor. Although he doesn't know what silver tier information is, he knows that the League had its hands reached worldwide! There are no informations that they couldn't find! As for recruiting, he doesn't care as much, maybe later.
"Who's Boris?" Jayce asked. Is it the dude that sells items in League? He had to make sure.
"Boris is our organization's merchant. He's a special race from the outside world, although he has no combat power, his race's space manipulation is second to none! If he flees, no one can catch him, not even our guild master!" Poppy explains.
"Once you are out of combat, you can call him with the medallion. Every time you call him, the items he will sell to you will be random. Oh, one more thing, he only accepts blue essences."
"Blue essence? How do I get that?" Wasn't that the currency people used to buy champions back in the game?
"You can't get blue essences in this world." She shook her head
"Then ho-.."
"But you can exchange with Boris. The exchange ratio will be 1:1000, meaning 1000 gold coins can be exchanged for 1 blue essence!"
"1000 GOLD COINS? AND FOR ONLY 1?" Jayce stared at the two in shock, his daily allowance was only 50 gold coins! How long does he have to wait to amass 1000? 20 days? Even if their family has a rich inheritance, they are shared among the businesses! They don't have a lot of spare liquidity.
"Yeah, Boris is a greedy merchant after all. You will get used to it. Any more questions?" Poppy shrugs in annoyance, she remembered how she was close to getting blacklist due to almost beating up the greedy bastard!
'Sigh, I have to find a way to make money somehow.' Jayce lamented; indeed, money is everything! Whoever said money is not everything is a hypocrite!
"What is Ionia?" He asked
"Hmm, Ionia is a special continent that is isolated from the outside world, you might know it as the "Oversea" as most of the people called it. Although there are ways to enter the continent, you can use that ticket to get there directly, it's a two-way trip and you can have 10 people at most to go along.
'So, it's called Ionia' Jayce had read books about the place, most people said it was like a god plane where people there can use Arcane Power.

"What's so special about the place?" now that he's not as ignorant as he was a couple of days ago. He knows that anyone can use Arcane power, not just the Ionian; Like Ezreal, he could utilize Arcane power, but he was born and raised in PiltOver.
"Find it out yourself." Soraka smiled at him mysteriously.
Jayce pouted but didn't ask anymore.
"Any more questions, we have to get a move on to the training!" Poppy impatiently asked, why is this boy such a curious monkey?
"Mhm, no more for now I think," Jayce said.
"Then let's go." Poppy turns around, leading them to the training ground.
Jayce then suddenly remembered something.
"Oh wait! I forgot; I have one more question."
"WHAT. IS. IT?" With gritted teeth, Poppy asked, veins could be seen bulging out of her temple. She swore that she will torture the boy for being such an annoying brat.
"Do you know what's Runeline is?" Jayce asked.
Ever since he got this reward for accepting the challenge by the council; he tried to ask the system, but it didn't say anything back. Meaning that he must find the information himself. He doesn't want to risk and consume the "RuneLine pill." without knowing what it is. He decided to ask these two people.
Once Jayce asked the question, the air suddenly turns solemn, murderous intent came from Poppy and even the "Kind-nature" Soraka frowns at the question.
*BANG* A massive hammer flew to her left hand. She turned around and stared at Jayce, ready to strike at any given moment.
"Who are you?"
