Chapter 119: An Accident

I had just come out of the bathroom when I saw Paijo and Gepeng climbing up a ladder that led to the school roof.

 From their movements I could infer that they were discussing something serious so I quickly followed them.

 I walked cautiously up the stairs for fear that they might hear my footsteps. When I got there I hid under the big water barrel that gardeners used to collect rainwater.

 From here I can see and hear their conversation quite clearly.

 "What are you talking about? Why do we have to talk in a place like this?" asked Gepeng while sitting on one of the old benches there.

 "I want to tell you something! I don't care if you believe it or not, I just said it!" Paijo replied casually.

 "What?" asked Gepeng confused.

 "The hospital where Gita admitted her illness to Melody, you know the head of the hospital is my uncle, right?"

 Hearing my name being called, I strained my ears.

 "Continue?"
