Chapter 5: the death of Catherine's parent
Officer Wei is standing in front of the door and giving her some time to digest all the bad news. This is the time for a police officer like Officer Wei hate to do. He really hates to inform the family member regarding the bad news for their family member.
Catherine finally tries to get a grip on herself before she is getting up. She is trying to be ready to do the final identification of her parent.
The police officer is opening the door to the morgue room and end up helping her to brace the reality. He is feeling pity for her family tragedy overnight.
The two black body bags lay side to side on the autopsy table. There is the tag from the police department on the body bag.
The morgue manager and the body forensic doctor try to open the body bag. But they have to consider the condition of the family member who is not in medical training to see the deceased body.
"Can I have the surgical mask? I am a trained surgeon abroad, so it will be not difficult for me to see my parent body. Do you need to swab my saliva to confirm the DNA?" Catherine is asking them with her hoarse sad voice.
The doctor is nodding and escorting her to the office table to get her larynx nose to get swabs and her saliva to confirm the DNA. She is getting the surgical mask and wearing it before checking her parent body.
As soon as they open the body bag, Catherine gets her heart wrenched once again to see the condition of her parent body. All the sadness come to creep up to her brain and make everything dark in her mind.
She is passing out in the morgue room after finding out about her parent's body condition who get burns until crisp.
The police officer is receiving her body before falling down to the hard floor. the doctor rush to call the nurse who get the stretcher and admit her to the emergency room.
The doctor checks on her body and finds everything normal in her body. She is just shocked and feel sad so her body kind of shut down automatically.
She is sleeping on the emergency room bay with the IV line attached to her body. The doctor let her sleep while the police officer waits for the result of the DNA test.
In the hotel room, Sam did not dare to wake up his boss. The time already showing ten o'clock when Arthur still sleeps on his bed.
He is trying to trace his side for the special woman body when he found the empty bed. He is opening his eyes slowly and feeling so energised for the first time in his life.
He sits down to call his personal assistant to his room. Sam is entering the room and opening the curtain to make the morning sun come to the bedroom.
Sam can see the untidy bed with all his clothes all over the bedroom floor. He also finds a few bills of money on the table nearby the bed.
"Your highness, is this the money for you?" Sam is informing his boss regarding the money on the table.
"What money?" Arthur is asking him with his hoarse voice before reaching for the glass of mineral water.
"The money with the note of thank you on the table. What do you want me to do with it?" Sam is asking him about the money.
"Leave it in there and I will deal with it. Who is getting my coffee in the car on the way back to the hotel? I want her to get the same drug as myself last night and make sure her family get the same also," Arthur is instructing his assistant to punish the person who dares to drug him.
"Yes, your highness. Anything else?" Sam is asking about some instructions from his boss.
"I want you to find Catherine," Arthur is telling his assistant. She dares to leave him alone and leave him some money for last night service. It is making his pride to step on the ground.
"May I know her family name?" Sam is asking his boss regarding the last name as it will be hard to find a person only based on her first name. Catherine is the most common name in this world.
"I do not know. But you might find her facial recognition from the elevator CCTV. Find her quickly," Arthur is getting up from the bed after getting the robe from his assistant.
Sam did not want to ask anything when he is well aware of his boss temperament. As the royal member, his temperament gets harder to tame and he is really doing his job perfectly.
This is the first time; Sam witnesses his boss smile and has a good warm facial expression. Sam is going to prepare his boss outfit for the day before he goes to do all the stuff.
James is finding out the drugged coffee made by his secretary who is the mole of Arthur's royal uncle. She is doing it as the instruction for the royal uncle of Arthur if she succeeded in bed the crown prince then she will become the royal crown princess.
James feels pity for this girl stupidity and naïve mind. She can be the tool for the greedy Royal Prince Lucius to trick his own nephew. This time, he has to punish her and her family to have the same drug with his royal highness crown prince last night.
