Chapter 102: Baby

At this, she blinked her eyes a couple of times before turning her head to face him. Creases appeared between both of her eyebrows as she attempted to recognize him when the realization had struck her.

"My baby?" she uttered.

Amusement crossed through his eyes at the endearment and the corner of his lips curved up before he enunciated, "Your baby?"

She solemnly nodded her head.

"Aren't you my baby?" asked drunk Valerie.

"That I am," he answered. "What about you then? What are you to me?"

Pursing her lips into a thin line, she raised her head, seemingly thinking, and the adorableness she displayed made Lucian feel awed.

After that, fixating her gaze on him, she slowly asked, "Can I be your baby too?"

"No," he seriously replied. A mischievous twinkle appeared in his eyes as he was in the mood to tease the drunk Valerie.

"Darling?"

She tilted her head slightly.

He shook his head to this.
