Chapter 95: Meteor Shower

After both of them were done with eating dinner, Lucian took her to the spot to watch the meteor shower. According to him, this place was the best.

There were not many people around this place, making it all silent other than the occasional noises from the nature. Cold breeze blew past both of them.

As Rye was about to sit down, he voiced out, "Wait a second."

Amusement flashed through her eyes when he removed his jacket and placed it around her shoulder. At this, his scent enveloped her, and this naturally made a smile appear on her face.

She crinkled up her nose.

"Aren't you too much in the act?" she questioned.

She genuinely thought he would be doing this in a halfhearted manner, knowing how his personality tend to be, as much as disappointing and maddening that would be. But he showed more interest and sincerity than she anticipated.
