Ethan stared at her and said," I'm Sorry,".
"Huh?,"Edith said in a confused tone, she was confused as to why this man suddenly said sorry to her.
Edith looked at her and said," I'm really Sorry for what I said earlier in your office, I know I crossed my line at that time and I'm willing to trust you for my grandma's treatment I will think about the options and will tell you by tomorrow and I'm also sorry for what I did while sleeping, I really didn't mean that, and I'm also sorry for what my kids just did, they are really not like that they never asked anyone to be their mom and..," he stopped when he saw Edith staring at him.
Edith chuckled when she saw his expression and how he suddenly got stopped she really wanted to pull his cheeks because at this point he was looking like a scared and worried puppy but she stopped herself and composed herself and said," You know what, your kids are just like you, and specially Louis he is a photocopy of you, and about your sorry I accept it because I can see you mean it, but I'm not a forgiving person but I'll forgive you because of your kids I don't want them to see their father in bruises, but it doesn't mean I didn't get hurt by your words I did get hurt and angry and at that time I really wanna punch you on your face but I didn't because I respect elders," after that took a breath while Ethan mouth twitched when he heard her calling him old again.
Edith again said," And about what you did while sleeping for that I don't have words for you so just leave that but if you did something like that again I'll make sure you will regret that, and about your kids who says that I'm offended? Mr. Smith I don't have a heart that get angry on cute babies, they are just too cute and loveable that I can't take their words on my heart and I hope you will not scold them because they are just kids who doesn't have their mother with them and they just want that, they want a mother who will talk to them, help them to understand things which are diffucult for them, a person who will read them stories at night, help them to do their homework and their are many things which only a mother can do for them and as a single parent its not easy to give everything to a child, I have seen my father struggle when my mom died, he has to look after me as a mother and also as a father, he had to work to make sure I'm having a best life and in that I lost my happy father, he tried so hard to be a mother for me but in that he forget that he is only a human who can just do a limited work and play a limited role for me, he was also suffering after mom's death but he never show that to anyone but I saw that, I saw my father breaking in peices he was so hard on himself and that's why I was also not able to share everything with him and I can see that same love and care your kids have for you, I saw me in Maria, in Louis and also in Mike, and my dad in you and Flex, you both are trying your best but its still not enough, so I would just say you can't do everything but what you do is enough for them, don't be hard on yourself and just give it a time, give them a little time with you they will surely connect with you,".
Ethan just stared at her and asked," How ? How did you connect with them so smoothly? They both didn't know until now that Emmy was dead but you handle this so calmly? How? My kids never talked this much, not even with me. They just tell me what they want from me and I get that thinking that they are happy, How did you?,".
Edith chuckled and said dramatically," You can't compare with the magic of this Witch Mr. Smith, just as they said I'm the best, and I have an experience with Mike and a similar past,".
Ethan also chuckled and said," You are definitely like Aunt Jane, she also used to handle things like this,".
Edith smiled brightly and said,'' I don't know about mom but how I'm today is definitely because of my mom,".
Ethan smiled and said," You really love Aunt Suzie,".
Edith nodded and said,"She is the best, just because of her I was able to live my life fully. She was there whenever I needed her even after Leo's birth she never changed,".
Ethan nodded and just said," Hmm," after that he threw the cigarette and stood up and said," Thanks for helping Louis, I think I should join others, you can take your time, I won't disturb, and don't smoke again it's not healthy,".
Edith nodded and said," Hmm, sure,".
After that Ethan started to walk away but then he stopped and said with a frown," I'm just 5 yrs older than you, I'm still young and not too old," after that he walked away without listening to her.
Edith stared at his back with a dumbfounded expression, a few seconds later she laughed out loud and mumbled," Cute, did he really take that on his heart, oh god,".

Half an hour later,
Everyone was busy talking when Edith came back after freshening up and feeding the dogs. She had already taken a shower and changed into a night dress while her hair was secured in a small ponytail. She had three chocolate in her hands, she smiled at everyone and sat near Maria and Louis and said to everyone," I'm really sorry, I took a lot of time, I started to play with babies, Grandpa Lucas Ace is the cutest, he was playing with my Coco as if he was his baby,". After that she passed two chocolate to both the kids and said," This is for you cuties," both the kids took it and said thank you to her, but didn't open it, so Edith opened her own chocolate and started to eat without any care and said," Go on eat it, I personally love this chocolate, that's why I bought it from California,".
Both the kids looked at her and then at Ethan, when they saw he nodded in approval they both also started to eat happily with Edith, Ethan looked at the trio eating chocolate and got jealous and mumbled," Seriously, I can eat it too," but didn't say it out loud.
Leo looked at them and said," Let me take a pic, all three of you are looking so cute together, wait I'll bring my camera," After saying that he ran inside the Villa and in a few minutes he came back with a DSLR in his hand.
Edith, Louis and Maria looked at him with chocolate in their mouth and smiled cutely , Leo took a picture immediately and said," One more, come closer and tongues out," and just like he took a pic, he took four pic like this, one was in which both the kids kissing Edith's kiss and she was smiling brightly, second was chocolate in their mouth and smiling widely, third one was all three on them showing their tongues as if mocking someone, while the fourth one was a candid photo of their laughing, Edith looked at Ethan who was sulking at them and she smiled , she walked towards him and held his hand and pulled him towards them and said to Leo," How can you forget him, that's not fair," after that she looked at Ethan who was staring at their intertwined hands but she didn't notice that and said," Mr. Smith Ahh," Ethan opened his mouth subconsciously and Edith unknowingly put the same chocolate in his mouth which she was eating earlier and Ethan's eyes widened and Edith giggled at his reaction but Leo took a candid photo of this moment.
*Click**Click*
Edith turned towards Leo and said with a frown," Idiot not now, click the photo of him with kids , not mine, kids come,". Leo smiled cheekily and said," Sorry,".
Edith nodded and looked at Ethan and their hands, she left his hand and said," Take a pose guys,". But what she didn't notice that Ethan and everyone was staring at her, Specially Ethan who has a chocolate in his mouth, he composed himself and kneeled down on the ground but he didn't knew what pose would be suitable so he just looked at his kids, Maria and Louis looked at each other and then at Ethan, all three of them click the same photo as Edith took with both the kids, but in the last pic Maria pulled Edith with them and clicked a photo of four of them. After that they all clicked the photos with James, Lana, Alice , Leo and all the older members.
After a lot of fun, everyone was seating inside the Villa at the dining table and was having dinner, Grandpa Lucas and Grandpa William looked at each other and nodded then Grandpa William looked at Edith who was silently eating her dinner and thought," Save me god, you know I'm doing this for her own good,".
He took a deep breath and said," Ed?,"
Edith looked at him and said," Hmm,"
Grandpa William looked at her and said nervously," I have something to tell you and Ethan?,".
Ethan looked at him and said in confusion," Huh? Me? Is it about Grandma?,".
Grandma Rachel looked at them and said," Ahh! No no,".
Grandpa William tried to act normal and said," No no, something more personal,".
Edith put down her spoon and looked directly in his eyes and said," Spit it out Old man,". She knew from his behaviour something big was about to hit her.
Grandpa William looked at her and then at his friend he smiled mischievously and said ," Lucas it's better if you tell them,".
*Cough**Cough*
Lucas choked on his food and looked at William and sent dagger at him, he drank some water and looked at two people who were staring at him and everyone was silent waiting for him to speak.
Lucas took a deep breath and said in a firm tone," Uhm, We decided that you two will get married in a month, and that's an order,". .
" Boom," Leo mumbled to himself.
Edith and Ethan stared at Grandpa Lucas as if he just cracked a joke.
Edith ignored his words and started to eat again after saying," Hush, What the hell Grandpa Lucas, you both just scared the hell out of me, don't joke around like that,".
Grandpa William looked at her and said seriously," Edith we are serious,". Edith's hand stopped in the middle and she kept her spoon back then she stared blankly at her grandfather.
" No" came two firm voices, everyone looked at Ethan and Edith who just said this.
James took a deep breath and looked at both the kids who were looking at everyone.
He said," Louis , Maria go and play outside, I see you both have already eaten, we have to discuss something. Both the Kids nodded and walked away from the dining table.
Grandpa William bent back on the chair and said sternly," It's an order not a request,".
Edith frowned but still said calmly," You know I don't take orders, No means No, I'm not getting married to anyone,".
Grandpa frowned and said," You have to or else..,'' before he could continue Edith said," Or else? What? You will remove me from your Will? go on do it? Grandpa please don't take kids' words seriously and make things difficult,".
Grandpa William scoffed at her words and said," You thought I planned this today, no darling I don't make decisions in a rush and about removing you from my Will, baby you think I don't know you don't want money, Edith Woods don't think I'm stupid,".
Edith took a deep breath and said," So what, do whatever you want to Grandpa my answer will not change,".
Grandpa William stared at her and said," Think about it Edith, because if you deny then you have to leave this house and family forever, you don't need money but you can't lose us right?,".
