Upon waking up, I saw my adorable Rimu, besides me... I admired her cuteness for a few more moments... Stretched... Washed my face... And then...
"Rimu..."

"C'mon, let's put you in my head..."
'This door, shall herald, this world's change!'

A new day, starts!
"Hehh, this really gives off a Fantasy world feel..."
'Bustling with people as always...'

"Ah, nothing... Heehee. Well, let's go and visit that darned Library!"
'There's the guy...'
"Your pass, please."
'Come to think of it...'
"Uhm, I registered as an adventurer... I wasn't given anything...?"
"Sir, your wrists"

I checked... A magical emblem, was engraved into it, radiating its crimson glow.
'Wha- Eh? I didn't see this yesterday.'
"What's this?"
'— I assume this is the Adventurer's Pass?'
"It's the adventurer's pass. You may enter"
'— Guess it really was the pass'
"Thanks"
Thus, I made my first step...
'To gathering all extractable information!'
From the inside... All literary works, new and old were shelved. There were scriptures, tomes...
"Upon entry, man, is this place is ginormous"

"First I need, would be this world's history..."
'Hmmm, let's see... This one... Seems good, detailed.'
With that, I collected informative yet concise books. While at it, took a few books about Basic Magic...

'So that's what it was... Wonder what happened long before those years past. Everything from 200 years ago up to date seems succinctly written... But way before that... Almost, none. Very obscure.'
As I continued, a page piqued my interest...
"Apparently, I was right"
'Magia, a term for the Magical Particles...'
"It's the Grecian word for Magic... Which is..."
'That only means one thing. A Greek Reincarnate coined it. He's probably that guy... The one from Tsuki-san's lore.'
My research lasted for a few more hours...
"Divided into 5 Major Races..."

Occupied by my intensive research, I hardly noticed Rimu.
'Humans along with Demis... Dragons... Demons... Angels... Incorporeals...'
"Hmm... The latter four races. Their Territories or Domains are almost never seen."
'Maybe they live on a different plane?'
"— Don't be misconceived... As a Researcher myself, false information is unacceptable..."
"Soon enough, I'll figure it out.'
For the whole day, I crammed... Reading over 200 Books and summarized all of the details inside my head...
Following that, I went back to the hotel with Rimu and fell flat on my bed...
"Haaaaa, that was a long day... Rimu, sorry 'bout that. I didn't have time for you."

"Cute... To make up for what this fool did, let's sleep together. Tomorrow's gonna be another rough day of research"
Thus, my mind... Relaxed...
Morning came, and I did the usual after-waking-up routine.
"Mornin'. Rimu, Let's go"

And so, we arrived at Weiss' Library once again...
"This time, let's fill ourselves with Magic's... Rather, Magia's basics!"
I started collecting a bunch of books, and sat at one of the chairs. I placed Rimu alongside me and started reading...

"I see. Categorized into three Categories."
'Let's see... Ability Skills and Magical Skills'
"The latter. Enhances physical prowess by using one's own energy or Magia... The former, uses Magia to manipulate the forces of the universe"
I made a face of amazement and excitement.
'Manipulating the forces of the universe means being omni-poweful'
"Bwahhahahaahhaahahah!" Like a hysterical idiot, I laughed silently. — The good ol' days
After I finished analyzing its entirety, I then moved on to the next book.
'Ah, this is... That guy's book!'
A book from the Greek Researcher... Not so thick nor so thin.
"I love this guy's pieces... He explains it so thoroughly in just a few words"
'The Scales of Magical Skills...'
"Mhmm, it's getting interesting..."
'It seems... That it's being categorized into 5: Basic Skills, Special Skills, Ultimate Skills, Celestial Skills and Arcane Skills.'
"Hehhh, This is exhilarating"
Flipping the pages, I read "Magic has Laws just as how Nature has its own. "
'There are 8 Laws in total. The said laws are as follows'

"As I thought. This world is awesome..."

I Sat quiet for a few seconds and made a sudden, serious face...
Reflecting on everything I've encountered so far and making a lick of sense out of everything that had left me puzzled, I exclaimed.
"Arrgghhh! I can't do it!"
"Quiet down!"
'Ah, crap...'
"Sorry."
"I can't do it... Everything that has occurred to me has been unnatural..."
'Starting from the Whispering Deadlands, down to my Special Skill: Perception... I don't even know why I could use Magic extensively despite having extremely and pathetically low Magic Capacity.'
I laid my forehead on the edge of the table and muttered.
"I'm useless as a researcher..."
Until I saw Rimu... So round and plump... Resting like an adorable child on my lap.
"I never noticed..."
'She must be tired...'
"Time to head off, I guess?"
Consequently, I carried Rimu in my arms... Following that, went back.
Seeing my rented room, I laid on my bed placing Rimu next to me.
"Say, Rimu... Life's a jerk. Don't you agree?"
Thoughts from my previous life flashed into me. I put my arms on my forehead and suddenly turned sentimental...
'Don't dare drop a single tear, Shuma.'
"G'night Rimu."

I awoke... Scratched my eyes...
"Huh? Tears?"
'Ahhh, pathetic... Now I've turned into those 'Why did I cry' type of Characters... After all I said last night...'
"Ahhh, pathetic!"

"Oh, not you... Heheh.. You sure had a good nap yesterday, did you?"

"Really? Well, you can sleep on my lap all you want today..."
I then returned once more...
"This is life, Shuma... Life is always repetitive. Bear with it."
After I got inside, I took one book of that Greek Researcher and paid Mr. Librarian a visit...
"How may I help you?"
'An elf... "Nice cosplay" is what I wanna say but... This guy's real'
"I need all the books of this Author"
"Ah, the Unknown Author... Mayhap, you a researcher?"
"Thus, am I! — I mean, Yes, I am... Sorry"
"Ahahah, Lively... Please wait a moment..."
He stared at a Magical tablet of some sorts and clicked a portion of it. Thereafter, a whirling portal appeared. From it, he took the books, one by one.
'A Trans-portal! I gotta look into that later'
"Here it is. A total of 30 Books."
"Are all of these..."
"I've read all of those, it's about history, magic, monster evolutions... It's basically all about this world in simplified texts"
'Whoever created these, is a genius!'
"Alright, thanks... Appreciate this."
Soon after, I read and carefully analyzed each and every texts. I took into account the fact that the Author was a sly one.
Placing deep thought into decoding any likely coded messages, the process went on for the whole 10 hours...
"Oh, look at the time... Ah, Rimu..."
'She must be tired... Well, let's call it a day. I memorized the contents anyways...'
And so, I went back carrying Rimu in my arms.
After arrival, I sat on the bed, placed Rimu atop my head and conceptualized...
"Reading those books made me realize something..."
'It uses basic cryptography. The page numbers and structure... leads to a hint... a name. The characters were... マ and シュ'
"Mash? A female... She must be a Shielder..."
'I mean, she's a researcher...'
Giving myself a slap to the cheeks, "Get yourself together!"
'I any case, I found out the Author name... I'll look for her sometime. Ask her questions or something.'
'Any other messages?'
"— No, no, I don't think so..."
'Of all the encoded techniques, I can tell that only Cryptography was being used...'
"Enough, nerdiness. Time to sleep..."
I did the usual, Sleep...
ZzzZzz
After waking up, I decided to do something new...
"Rimu,"
'Ah, she's still asleep... Cute'
I carried her in my arms and prepped myself to go outside. Rushed to leave the premises... The sun was ever-so bright...
"Time to create my own skills!"
A new adventure, awaits...

Shuma I found it hard to write this particular part of the story because of the possibility of a persisting info-dump, so If at all, you liked it, I'd like to impose, to tell you and add this story in your library！
On another note, the next chapter might be a follow-up exposition for some parts of this. It won't be moving the plot one bit so it's skippable
