Because Queen Alicia never returned to the palace, King Theodore gave a final ultimatum that made everyone at the meeting, including myself, very surprised. The man said that he would make me a queen. Of course, it was opposed by many people. I was against it too.

I didn't want to do it. That was a huge responsibility. What's more, I was just a disabled woman who couldn't see. I had many flaws and surely in the future, I could only burden so many people.

Besides, here in Northendell, I had no other family. I had no one who could protect me other than King Theodore. The atmosphere in the meeting became more boisterous because King Theodore didn't hear the protests of the higher-ups. 

The man also didn't try to calm down the protesting nobles at all. He actually pulled me to come with him to his study.
