Chapter 33: Shinichi Vs Mammon (Finale)
Shinichi's sword was raised above his head with a large amount of sword qi was leaking all over his body at the same time the flame in his soul starting to boil fiercely as it was responding to Shinichi's strong feelings of wanting to remove the threat in front of him.
His whole body started to ignite with phoenix flame as the temperature of the heat is getting hotter and hotter and when it reached the highest peak it was slowly going to the black sword engulfing it and starting to form a huge sword of flame magic coated by the sword qi.
'Ahhh! It hurts like hell! This pain making me insane!'
Shinichi felt that the pain was unbearable but he gritted his teeth as this was the only way to kill Mammon, His eyes and ears started to bleed and after a second the side of both his lips and nose also bleeds as the blood started to merge to his flame. His veins all over his body starting bulge as he endured the tremendous pain and then he declared in a solemn and rough voice.
"I will use this sword and magic to protect my love once, my brothers and sisters, and my comrades. To remove the threat, I will endure any pain that will come in my way and face it head-on. Even cutting the heavens in half if it was needed to if the heavens itself was a threat to them I will do it without hesitation."
As Shinichi's declared, all the mage's hearts pounded rapidly. What Shinichi's stating is a declaration to the heavens itself not only to Mammon. If it was from the past, they were all going to laugh at him and cursed him by declaring that he will cut the heavens because no one is capable of doing that.
But when they looked at Shinichi, bleeding all over his body while all his veins bulging out, they all knew that he was experiencing a hellish pain that no ordinary person can endure.
They can't laugh at him and they all start to believe that he would do so, because he showed them earlier that the impossible for them was not impossible for this young commander of them.
They also knew that combining the sword qi and element magic is impossible to achieve, not only it was a huge strain on the body but you need a tremendous amount of concentration. And what made them even more amazed is that he was only One attribute and it was flame at that, it is said that those flame magic users are all hot-headed and don't have a calm mind to concentrate and now, they are all witnessing it with their own two eyes right at this moment.
They can't believe the miracle they are seeing at this very moment; the sword qi was guiding the fire element and calming it down, they look like brothers helping each other in harmony to achieve even higher heights. With the sharpness of the sword qi plus the destructive power of the fire magic, they all eager to see what is the outcome of this unbelievable feat.
Contrary to them Reina and Esri were so worried, their heart was clenching tightly as they saw Shinichi's back but the both of them only looked at him and cheered at him in silence to respect Shinichi's resolve. Unexpectedly Fiona and Lisa were also having a worried expression, the both of them were biting their lips hard as they started to bleed.
They can't imagine how can a one person can endure this kind of pain by saving other people, if it was the other person, they are sure that they will abandon it and even sacrifice their love once for the safety of their own lives. This action of Shinichi is making their maiden's hearts feel moved and felt something they never experience. Only Elly is the only one who is cheering happily to Shinichi without knowing anything as she was full of confidence in him.
Mammon was trembling heavily; his past life's humiliation and death were rapidly replaying inside his head. He was sweating buckets as he looked at his palm also covered in sweat. His golden eyes were starting to shine and after the end of his past life flashback, a man wearing a black robe suddenly appear inside his mind.

In a place full of nothing but darkness, a black robe man holding a torch was standing in front of Mammon and his face was covered by darkness.
"What a pitiful creature, you just eat to your heart's content but the karma suddenly took action and immediately killed you."
"Who are you?"
The black robe man only put his right index finger in his lips and spoke. "Shhh! You don't need to shout, no one will hear you hear. I will give you a chance to live again, but there is one condition" Black Robe man said as he smiled wickedly
"Really? What is it? I will do it just make me reincarnate, I want to have my revenge on that damn Great Kings"
"Sure then, you only need to use this flame when you met someone who will make you feel death was approaching you." The black robe man suddenly wave his right hand and a pitch-black flame appeared
"T-that is?" Mammon asked
"You don't need to know, what this is. All you need to know is my condition to let you live again for the second time." Black robe man said as he smiled ear to ear
"Okay! I'll do it, I'll promise ill use this flame when I feel death is approaching me."
'Though I can make this flame my own and use it for my vengeance against that phoenix flame.'
The black robe man heard him but he only smiled widely

Mammon shouted from the top of his lungs and stab his thigh to stop his body from trembling as he calmed down himself.
'No need to feel fear, I still have these flames that my benefactor lends me. this is the right time to use it'
Mammon raised his two hands and started to used the black flames. Inside his soul, the black flame that is sleeping peacefully suddenly startled awake and started to flowed towards Mammon's whole body to his two hands and came out.
The appearance of the black flame makes all the mages feel the energy of death in it. Their body started to tremble and took a step back. Shinichi on the other hand didn't care about it because the only thing in his mind was to kill Mammon in this one attack.
[…] Hestia wanted to say something to Shinichi but she doesn't want to disturb him
"Let's end this once and for all Demon!" Shinichi said in a rough voice
"Hah! Do you think you're the only one who is favored by the heavens? I also have this given me by my benefactor, if you met him in the underworld thank him for me. HAHAHA!"
Both of their final trump cards were now on display and the result of these final battles will end in a single attack. When their attack was at its peak, they both unleashed it.
"Black Flame engulfs everything!"
"Flaming Sword Qi Magic: Burn and Split the Heavens!"
Mammon unleashed his black flame and Shinichi swung his sword coated with a gigantic fire sword. The sword phoenix flame coated with sword qi slammed at the black flame.
Baaam!
The ground all over the City of Circe started to tremble like there was an earthquake. At the bottom of the two powerful attacks created a huge crater. Mammon and Shinichi pushed their attacks with all their might as they shout.
"Haaaaaaaaaa!
"Graaaaaaaaa!
"I won't lose to a brat like you! My vengeance is just getting started!" Mammon shouted
"Your vengeance ends here!" Shinichi replied as he pours even more power to the gigantic flaming sword
Mammon was pushed back a little and he also put his strength even harder. They are staling each other with all their might. The mages, Esri, Reina, Lisa, Fiona were all clenching their fist and gritting their teeth as they watched this apocalyptic scene.
After 10 minutes of stalling each other Shinichi was losing power little by little as he started to feel the pain is starting to go in his head. Mammon smiled wickedly when he saw this and he smiled from ear to ear and spoke.
"Why don't you just drop it now, it will only make you suffer if you hold longer, if you stop resisting it will end faster and it will make you feel better. Just ignore those fools behind you, they only make you fight for themselves while they only did was watch you bleed in pain on your own."
Mammon's voice was like a whisper of a demon in Shinichi's ears, but before he could think of anything a voice suddenly echoed from his back.
Reiji suddenly woke up and shouted "Boss! Don't lose! You are the strongest one attribute that will shake the world, it was just a damn demon." Reiji shouted forcefully even experiencing a difficulty
"Yes commander, don't lose you are our strongest captain who will stand at the top of the hierarchy in the future!"
"Commander!"
"Commander!"
All the mages shouted from the bottom of their heart what they felt to support Shinichi because this is the only way they can all think how they will help Shinichi in this final battle. Reina, Esri, Lisa was only silent looking at his sturdy back. Elly was dancing in the air and cheering like a cheerleader and unexpectedly a shout suddenly rang out all over the battlefield making their jaw drop.
"ODA SHINICHI! IF YOU WIN! I WILL GIVE MY SOUL AND BODY TO YOU! I WON'T LET YOU DIE AFTER YOU GET INJURED HEAVILY AFTER THIS! SQUEEZE ALL YOUR STRENGTH! YOU DON'T NEED TO WORRY WHAT HAPPENS NEXT; I WILL HEAL YOU COMPLETELY!" Fiona shouted with close eyes from the top of her lungs as she declared his love publicly to Shinichi and it was to the battlefield at that.
Esri, Reina even Lisa opened their eyes widened in surprise at the public declaration of love by Fiona. All the male young mage's hearts who has hidden feelings for Fiona suddenly broke into pieces, even their Healing Goddess was taken by their commander. They don't have a choice but to accept this reality.
Shinichi on the other hand suddenly felt a huge amount of energy inside his body when he heard the support of Reiji and his comrades. And after hearing Fiona's declaration of love, the huge amount of energy inside him suddenly snap as he poured all his strength into his sword as he gritted his teeth slashed even harder.
"I won't lose, I am the 'Undefeatable Prodigy' defeat is not in my dictionary! Haaaaaa!" Shinichi shouted
"Dammit! Where did this kid power come from!" Mammon said as he was taken aback by Shinichi's sudden burst of power. He suddenly caught a glance at the cheering crowd at the back of Shinichi
"DAMN YOU! HUMANS! I WILL KILL ALL OF YOU AFTER I KILL THIS BRAT!" Mammon shouted in an angry voice
But a rough voice suddenly echoed in his ear "You don't need to worry about that, because you don't have a chance to achieve that." Shinichi said as he started to cast another magic spell
Mammon started to feel that his black flame was slowly getting weaker, he doesn't know what is going on, but when he looked closely the black flame was slowly getting devoured by the Dragon's head shape flame and he suddenly heard Shinichi's voice.
Shinichi's left hand was not holding the hilt of the sword, he was only holding the sword with his right hand, while his left hand formed a dragon shape flame as it started to devour the black flame.
"Special Magic Fire Attribute: Devour all flames!"
Mammon felt terrified when he heard the name of the spell Shinichi cast. How can a mortal brat devour all kinds of flames, how did he do it? That is the only word roaming inside Mammon's mind. He doesn't know the existence of Hestia so his question won't be able to answer.
Hestia told Shinichi that the ability of his Physique is not only immune to all flames, but it can also devour all flames in the entire heavens or even underworld.
Shinichi was delighted when he heard it because he also wants this black flame Mammon unleashed but he can't say it because he was in the middle of a fight. (A/N: if you want to recall the status of Shinichi and his physique go to chapter: 12)
As the black flame was getting devoured by Shinichi, His attack started to overpower Mammon as he holds himself even harder.
"DAMN! BASTARD! RETURN IT TO ME!" Mammon shouted but Shinichi didn't reply like he didn't hear him, he was focused on devouring the black flame while slashing even harder his flaming sword towards Mammon
Mammon suddenly remembered his benefactor's condition, at first, he didn't know what is the purpose of that black robe man but now, he fully understand. He was used!
Mammon felt betrayed and fear is starting to resurface again in his heart that he felt earlier, if his trump card was not really his from the beginning then he was destined to be doomed. But he doesn't want to accept it he greeted his teeth intending to use his most powerful magic.
Mammon unleashed his magic to counter the flaming sword, this time the black flame was fully devoured and Shinichi didn't delay and slashed the flaming sword qi to Mammon.
"Million Rain of Souls!"
Millions of dark souls appeared from the black hole at the back of Mammon as it went to counter Shinichi's attack but the souls didn't even get close, it was starting to burn before it was cut in half by the sword qi. When Mammon saw this his face became pale and his golden eyes lost hope as the sword slowly descended towards him. The only word he said at his last moment was.
"Damn it all!"
Mammon was engulfed with the flaming sword qi and his body was starting to burn and was cut to thousands of pieces as he cried in pain and agony. After a minute Mammon's body incinerated even ash didn't remain.
