Chapter 7: First Kill, Assassination Attempt
In the middle of the street, there are two people walking side by side with each other while holding hands. This young couple is Reina and Shinichi. The young lady already removed her robe, she is now wearing a color grey long hoodie with leggings and a black jacket, they are on the way to the adventurer's guild.
On the left and right sides of the street, there are lots of vendors selling different kinds of things and foods. the street is buzzing with the voices of the customers and vendors. Some of them even tried to sell something to the young couple, but they are into each other and busy flirting that they ignored the vendor. suddenly, a middle-aged man stopped in front of them while holding lots of accessories. Their lovely little world that they created suddenly vanished.
"Young man, do you want to buy one of these accessories for your beautiful girlfriend?" the middle-aged man asked Shinichi.
Shinichi didn't answer the middle-aged man, he only looked at him with a cold gaze. But the middle age man ignored his gaze and still tried to convince Shinichi.
"Hmmm? how about this. I have an Item here, that you would want."
The middle-aged man suddenly pulled a knife from his bag wrapped with poison and tried to stab Reina. But Shinichi already pulled Reina in his back and counter-punched the middle-aged man in his face. The middle-aged man's face knocked back before stabling his footing and stared at the young man in front of him.
"it's been a long time since I do boxing maybe you can make me sweat a little." Said Shinichi with a smirk visible on his face.
'Is this assassin come from my beautiful wife's family too?'
The people around them suddenly got alerted and run to the side and looked at the scene.
The assassin wipes the blood on his lips and dashed to Shinichi with lightning magic to double his speed. Shinichi on the other hand take a right-hand boxing stance and punched a heavy jab using his left fist, followed by a right straight. It connected to the assassin's face before he could stab Shinichi. The assassin's head was knocked back and saw the beautiful blue sky. Shinichi then used this chance to duck in and punched with a right uppercut. before the assassin could stable his footing, Shinichi's uppercut suddenly connected to his jaw and followed it with a blow to the liver.
Bang!
The assassin was sent flying like a broken doll and smashed at one of the stalls. He tried to stand up but he suddenly vomits a mouthful of blood. The assassin's ribs, nose, and jaw were broken. He was having a hard time standing up. He didn't think that this young man that looks weak has destructive power and didn't even use magic.
"Who are you?" The assassin shouted.
Shinichi started to walk to the assassin and he answered.
"I am the Husband of the one you tried to assassinate." Replied Shinichi coldly.
"What? The young miss is already engaged. Your lying!" the assassin suddenly shouted again
Shinichi stopped in front of the assassin and grab his hair. Shinichi's face suddenly changed; the look of a handsome young man suddenly became demonic but he still looks cool to the young maidens watching.
"Reina is mine. And mine alone whoever tried to separate us. I will not show any mercy." Shinichi said in an angry voice, but for the assassin, the voice he heard is like coming from the bottom pit of hell.
The assassin started to tremble from fear. He suddenly used wind magic to cut the hair that Shinichi's been holding. when his hair was cut, he used this chance to flee with lightning magic to double his speed. When he turned his head to look at the young man, he saw that the young man didn't follow him. He smiled widely and shouted.
"YOU DAMN MONSTER! Just you wait! our family will hunt you down till the end of the world Hahaha." He laughs out loud like a madman.
Shinichi on the other hand only stared coldly at the running assassin with his red eyes. The assassin is still visible to his eyes even the people around watching already lose sight of the assassin.
"Do you think I will let the person who tried to kill my lovely wife in front of me be still alive?" Shinichi's said coldly.
Shinichi reached the hilt of his sword on his back. The moment he grabbed the hilt of his sword, the air around Shinichi became chaotic. the surrounding people take a step back and sweated heavily. They felt that a dragon suddenly awakened to this young man in front of them. The onlookers didn't see that the young man swung his sword but they saw a body miles away has been cut into two. With a thud sound, the assassin died with a smiling expression on his face and didn't know how he died.
'This is the first time I killed a person in this world but I don't feel anything, is it because he tried to kill my woman?'
When Shinichi is in his previous world he also killed many people when he is in the military camp to train, but he still feels something but now he didn't even pity the assassin. Shinichi shook his head and put it at the back of his head. The onlookers looked at the young man in disbelief with their jaw dropped. they then started to cheer on the young man.
"Brother! you're awesome. How did you do that?."
"Handsome your so cool. please marry me."
"Handsome please give me a child."
"Hey hey!"
"Damn, He's strong even without using magic and has a handsome face at that. I'm so jealous damn it!."
Different kinds of praises words and jealousy can be heard from the onlookers. even the young maidens tried to talk to him, but when they saw that the young man is looking at someone else and wanted to see who this young man looking at. they saw a super beautiful young lady they were all shocked and became jealous.
Shinichi ignored the noisy crowd and walked to check on Reina with a worried expression on his face.
"I'm fine Shin-kun!" Reina said to Shinichi and has a lovestruck look on her face.
The feeling of being protected by the opposite gender and it was her lover at that, for the first time in her life it gave an impact on her innocent heart. She suddenly asked Shinichi in return.
"How about you Shin-kun are you alright?" Asked Reina in a worried tone.
"Yes, Of course, I'm fine, the poison didn't even scratch me." Said Shinichi with a smug on his face.
They looked at each other with love and caring in their eyes and started to enter their lovely world again. But suddenly a melodic woman's voice asked them.
"Are you the one who killed that person?." asked the woman's voice.
They suddenly wake up from their lovely atmosphere and look at the 11 armored ladies. they all look the same age as Shinichi and Reina. In front of these 10 armored ladies is a stunning beauty with long light golden hair tied to both sides of her head. her hair is braided from the back of her head and a bow attached at the end of the braid and has blue color eyes like a Sapphire. She had a golden sword in her waist, wore golden armor and a white skirt, different from the other armored ladies which is silver-colored armor.
"Yes, I'm the one who killed it. That man is an assassin and tried to assassinate my beautiful wife here." Shinichi said and put his right hand around the shoulder of Reina.
The armored golden beautiful young knight looked at Reina that is blushing by the action of Shinichi for a while then looked again at Shinichi.
"So, the onlookers are telling the truth, that a strong young man killed that man. also, they said that your a strong swordsman too, is that true?" asked the Golden armored lady with an expectant look on her beautiful face.
"Well, yes," Shinichi replied casually.
The golden armored lady suddenly smiled beautifully and excitedly come closer to Shinichi's face and put her two clenching fists in front of her breast before she said.
"Really? Can you please show it to me?" Said the golden armored lady excitedly.
