Chapter 6: Falling In Love At First Sight
"Reina"
I called Reina and push her body back lightly so that we can see each other in the eyes. I could see my reflection in her eyes and surely, she's the same. I looked at her with a serious expression on my face.
"I now understand the reason for your action earlier, and after hearing your story I already decided. but first, let me ask you something. Do you trust me?" I asked her in a serious tone
"Yes," Reina replied without hesitation
"Why? we only just met recently, how did you trust someone like me? What if I have a bad motive for you?" I asked her a question again.
At this time, she didn't reply immediately. she only keeps on staring at my eyes. after a moment of silence. she move her red lips and started to talk.
"I've been observing my targets for almost 3 years. I know if the person is bad or not. not only my targets even my so-called family. I honed my skills for years" she replied at me with a serious tone.
"But you didn't observe me long enough, we only met at the back alley it didn't even take an hour before you lost consciousness," I asked again in a confused look.
"The reason huh." She stopped and started to remember our first meeting.
"In the back alley when I was looking for help. no one tried to help me, only you. You didn't hesitate to rescue me, that is one of the reasons. the next one is your caring face, when you saw me that I'm not doing well your face looks worried. I saw it before I lost consciousness and lastly." she said and suddenly stopped.
She lowered her head and said something weakly, but I still heard it. I tried to act that I didn't hear to make her say it loudly.
"What did you say? I didn't hear it." I asked her with a teasing smile on my face
After teasing her for some time, she suddenly yelled at me.
"I said! I fell in love with you at first sight. the reason I didn't answer you earlier was that." she suddenly cut her sentence and look at my eyes and said.
"I can't take my eyes off you. I can't hear whatever you said earlier. I only want to keep on looking at you" she said to me as her face blushed.
I was dumbfounded. I didn't think that she also fell in love at first sight. I thought it was all a coincidence but now it looks like faith is on our side. We have lots of similarities. Looks like we are destined to be with each other. I teased her and enjoy her cute reactions.
"pfft. hahaha. you're so cute. then Reina." I suddenly stopped laughing and stopped teasing her. I suddenly put on a serious expression.
When Reina saw me suddenly became serious. She becomes nervous because I might not answer her love for me. but there is also expectation visible in her eyes. After looking at her for a minute I started to speak.
"Reina, I love you. I want to protect you, will you let me become your best pillar and protect you?" I asked her from the bottom of my heart.
Reina puts her 2 hands and covers her small mouth and looks shocked. She suddenly started to cry and she answered me.
"Yes, gladly" she replied.
She suddenly hugged me and buried her face in my sturdy chest. My clothes were wet because of her tears. She cried again loudly, I can't blame her for crying because she already lost all her love once and was left alone. She hugged me tightly, She was scared to even let me go in a second.
After she cried again for more than 5 minutes. I raised her head to look at me and hold her chin. I ask again.
"Reina, will you become my woman?" I asked and smiled at her with a kind voice
"Hmmm." She replied with a nod.
I smiled widely like a fool, then I suddenly kissed her red cherry lips. She receives my kiss and closed her eyes to feel our love for each other. After we kissed each other for more than a minute, Reina is still in a trance. If she was an anime character you will be able to see a heart shape in her eyes.
"Reina. right now, I can't do anything about your problems the way I am now. I will become stronger, strong enough to remove all your worries and burdens. No, not strong enough. I will become the strongest to make you live happily and protect you without fail." I said to her and kissed her lips again.
'Those family of yours, once I become stronger. I will let them know how stupid they are
After our long hot kiss, we are now hugging each other. we didn't say anything and just cuddle to feel each other's body warmth. I just caress her head while she keeps on rubbing her face in my chest. I suddenly felt hungry.
"let's take a bath. And eat some lunch I was getting hungry." I said to her
"Hmm." She nodded
We went to the public bath on the second floor of the inn, there are 2 separate public baths for males and females. After we took a bath, we went down to eat our lunch, we took almost 5 hours to finish our conversation. We went to the counter and ask for the food.
"Miss Chloe we would like to eat," I said to the receptionist.
"Sir Shinichi, oh! great, your girlfriend already healed." Exclaimed by Miss Chloe
I suddenly hugged Reina with my right hand in her waist and it make her blush before I replied.
"Yes, she's fine now. Thank you so much for the information you gave me. It helps us a lot." I thank her and bowed lightly
"Oh! you don't have to thank me it's natural to help the one in need. What do you want to eat then?" She smiled charmingly and asked.
"Hmm. Anything is fine to me. How about you Reina what do you want to eat?" I answered miss Chloe and ask Reina
"Anything is fine too." She replied shyly
"Alright then, please wait in the dining hall. I will serve it to you right away." Chloe replied and went to the kitchen.
Reina and I then went to the dining hall and wait for our food. Reina sitting on my right side. A few minutes later miss Chloe came with food and put it on our table.
"Enjoy your meal." Miss Chloe said and left
After we finished our food. We started to talk about the guild, I asked her if she wanted to join the guild too, and became an adventurer with me.
"Yes, I want to join too. I will follow you wherever you go. Shi- Shin-kun." Said Reina weakly and blushed when she called me.
"Alright then, after we rest for a while let's go to the guild to register you. Rei-Chan~." I said to her and called her too with a teasing smile on my face.
She nodded at me and blushed. After we flirt with each other for 30 minutes, we went to the Adventurer's Guild to register Reina.
