Chapter 179: Iron Links of Joulst

As we get closer and closer to the building with steam coming out from the other side, I notice something interesting happening.

I could see a guy trying to climb a pole while waving his hand, probably trying to get someone's attention.

And indeed, my attention was caught because this guy was none other than Flieben himself.

He's getting weird looks from the people passing by and seeing him do this is giving me second-hand embarrassment.

"Is he not embarrassed doing that?"

"Seems to be the case."

I guess it's the same with Lyn.

To not embarrass himself further, Lyn and I hurried up to Flieben through the crowd.

When we finally got close enough, he notices us and a large smile was drawn on his face while tearing up. Why...

"I thought you guys left already!"

I guess that's a warranted worry. I mean, we did think about it.

"As long as where we go doesn't let us sit under the snow, we'll go."
