Chapter 162: A Burst of Changes

"What happened?"

"A sibling fight happened."

Currently, I am holding the baby on my arms as on the way out, I broke the basket. Because the cloth is soaked in the baby's mucous, I decided to just sit on the puddle of water half-submerged.

Ace beside me still has a soapy hair with only a towel to cover his lower half while watching Iris and Francis duke it out while burning down the roof of the housing.

Ace, I, and the rest of the team are just outside watching the siblings run out of steam.

"I wonder if they'll replace what they broke. The repairs won't come cheap after all."

"That's what you're worried about, captain?"

Ace crosses his arm while looking at me with an exasperated look.

"You think it was easy to have that thing you gave me sold off?"

"I assumed so. I mean, 3 days is a short time."

"I had to do a shit ton of favours just to get it off my hands. Thankfully, the locals like me and some familiar faces helped."
