In another part of the Crimson household, Carla is studying magic with Ruina as her tutor.

Though Ruina was reluctant, she had great pride in teaching Carla as she prided herself to be the strongest witch to ever exist.

"I have to hand it to you, your teaching makes these books easy to understand."

"Of course it would, these books are just bootlegs of the ones I published centuries ago."

"Seriously?!"

While proudly pushing out her flat chest, Ruina draws a very confident smile on her face.

"Well, they only made these because they can't accept that the original author is a witch that brings calamity and death."

"It's perfectly reasonable if you ask me."

"Spineless practitioners don't deserve my contribution to magic crafting. If anything, I thank the bootleggers for gatekeeping my work from the rest of the world."

Though slightly taken aback, Carla is already used to how full of herself Ruina is. So as much as possible, she ignores it as she continues to study.
