Chapter 10: 10

When Angelica asked if they were continuing our tour, Raven nodded mutely in agreement and followed her towards a corridor. The corridor was painted with rows of large doors on both sides of the corridor. Each wall appeared endless with an infinite number of doors. The doors were all painted in an off shaded white.

We walk down the corridor until we reached door 13. A thought entered Raven's mind and she decided to voice it before she realized how ridiculous it was, "What day is it?" Angelica gave me a confused look.

"Thursday," she replied. Damn! One day off.

Raven was slightly embarrassed as she explained, "I was just hoping that it was Friday because then it would be like I moved into the 13th on a Friday. It's random but sort of funny; maybe even good luck. It doesn't matter because today isn't Friday."
