Ivan
"Why must you make things more difficult than necessary?" My father demanded, hitting the top of his desk after I refused his offer for the millionth time. "You've managed to insult every female who's set foot in this palace."
"You'd think that would help all of you take the hint," I glared at him, aware I was being stubborn. I didn't care. "I don't know how many more times I have to make this clear. I want her, no one else."
"She left, Ivan!" Running his hand through his hair, his wolf growling in agitation. It's hard to forget that part of us is animal, and we're predators. "How much more of a hint do you need? She doesn't want to be with you. She is not interested in becoming a princess or future queen. She chose someone else and a different life. It's time for you to do the same."
