"Please tell me you worked things out," Sierra held Penelope in her arms like she was scared to let her go. 

"Nope," Ivan threw his clothes on before grabbing Pen-Pen from his mother resting her on his chest. "We're still getting divorced."

"How can you be so calm about that?" she demanded, looking between us. "Ivan… none of this makes any sense! You're mates. Nefera, sweetie. I know things are stressful, but you can't escape everything!"

"I know," I gave her a sheepish smile before tying my hair back. "Let's wait for everyone to arrive, and we'll explain everything."

"What…?" Sierra held her head, clearly in the middle of getting a migraine. Not that I blamed her. We hadn't exactly made things simple for anyone. "Alright. I… Alright."
