Nefretiri
I'm alone.
For a moment, I don't remember where I am. The room around me doesn't seem familiar. Where was I?
Voices came from outside the bedroom, and the sun was out, though the thick curtains kept most of it out.
Sitting up, I rub my eyes to get the sleep out of them before glancing around the room.
This was Ivan's room, but not the one from his parent's house. That's right, the party didn't end until the morning, and I'd started falling asleep in the chair.
I vaguely remember Ivan picking me up and carrying me up the stairs,
With a silent laugh, I lay back in the bed, enjoying the comfortable mattress for a little longer.
Whenever I closed my eyes, I was afraid I'd be back on the couch with Ricky, and the muffin-tops would be over me when I woke up. Yelling insults and making me feel like my life was less than worthless.
