Chapter 17: Season 1 (CH17):
"So can you help me out?" Carl asked looking at Ty who was spitting away sun flower seeds.
"Yeah kid, I can get you a legal one. Though you are going to have to tell me what kind you want or you will be screwed since I will give you some crappy Nissan if you don't." he said with a chuckle while throwing away the empty bag that he had just finished.
"That is fine. I really just want a Chevy Silverado 1500 solid black, the closer to this year that you can get the better." Carl said after thinking it over for a moment.
Nodding Ty thought it over, "That is doable, it isn't to high end so I can get one cheap that is legal from a friend I have. I will call you with the amount you need to pay, also make sure that you have your drivers license so that it can be put in you name, you do have one right?"
"Don't worry about it I will have it by the time that you get me the car." He said with the wave of his hand like it wasn't a big deal.

When Carl got back home it was to the sight of meat all over the house, it took him a moment to remember since he hadn't been living by the episodes but it clicked when he did. Ian, Lip, and Mandy had robbed a truck of meat, from the way that Steve was talking about a night away then it really was that, he couldn't remember anything to big happening in this episode.
Well if you don't count them faking Franks death, but until then it was just nothing really since Fiona would be gone for the night and they would be all alone. "Go ahead and tell her Carl, tell Fiona how you can also take care of yourself for the night." Steve said to him drawing him from his thoughts.
He shrugged his shoulder while walking further in, "Yeah we both already know that. Fi doesn't have to worry about me, I will be spending my night watching some basketball and eating some of these amazing Steaks that they got."
Fiona glared at him slightly but all he did was shrug his shoulders, it wasn't like he was going to lie to her or something it was true that and they both knew it. She sighed when he raised a brow at her, they kept talking about it more but he tuned them out while looking a steak over.
"Do we have any A1 sauce to go with this." He asked Lip while looking over two pieces of it.
"No we don't have any at the moment, text Ian though and see if he can bring any home though that could help." He replied with a shrug
Carl nodded as Lip went out the back door with a meat knife, as he took a couple of pieces to cook he could see Fiona walking off while Steve looked dejected since he couldn't get her to agree. He then half listened as Kev told him what he needed to do, not paying any more attention he started to text Sammy who he was really growing closer to.
Sammy- Gosh they need to update the next episode, I am tired of re-watching the same thing over and over again.
Him- Yeah I know how you feel, I spend my time in between playing video games to not get stuck in a loop like that. On another note do you want to come over for some steaks? We can hang out some.
Sammy-.....Sure. I will be there a little later I am out at an appointment at the moment.
Him- Great! See you when you get here.
Taking two big steaks he put them into the fridge so they wouldn't spoil while waiting on her, he thought about putting a fridge in his room but shook off the thought. At the moment he was back to sleeping with Ian and Liam while the bathroom was being put in his room, he could still hang out there but it was to stuffy to sleep in.
Kiki had taken to sleeping with Fiona at this time, she still spent a great deal of time with him and wore the collar Kassidi got her but all her nights or naps were spent in Fiona's room. After learning that she was staying in there he moved her bed in there which was in his room, she didn't like being displaced or the noise so she was taking refuge with Fiona.
After putting away the steaks he saw Steve pick up Liam and head towards the front door, rushing over he stopped him, not that he was trying to be a cock-block or anything, "What are you doing with him?"
"I am going to take him to Shelia's for the night. I talked to her earlier and she agreed to watch him while I get Fiona out the house for the night, she needs this. Unlike the rest of you Liam can't take care of himself and this also give you guys a night without having to worry about him either. So what do you say keep this a secret for now? I will tell her when I get back." Steve said with what he thought was a charming smile.
Carl gave him a deadpan stare, "Whatever. If anything happens to my brother though I will be on your ass, same goes for if you do something to hurt my sister."
Steve paused before nodding.
Knowing what was happening after that Carl walked back to his room downstairs, he wanted to get some games in before Sammy showed up, he thought it was a good idea to have a movie night with her. He knew that she was lonely, ever since last year he hadn't seen her hang out with anyone else, so he was going to just go with the flow so that he could be her friend he didn't really care what problems she had going on at the moment.
He jumped right into Red Dead Redemption, he could only hold his tears back at the fact that the second one wasn't out yet, that was honestly a master piece. He still had a whole year for GTAV, thankfully those games were actually made in this world, he had actually played San Andreas over again over the past month, he beat it and was just glad to do Grove street proud with CJ.
An hour into playing he heard some complaining upstairs, walking up there it was between Steve and Fiona about how he dropped off Liam, he could only shake his head at that since he knew it would happen. At that moment Sammy messaged him that she was outside, she couldn't go in though since her mom wanted to meet him, he didn't know what for but he shrugged and went out anyway.
They were sitting in a SUV Sammy had her window rolled down as she sat there waiting, walking over he smiled at her, "What's up girlie, ready for a fun night and some good food?"
She smiled slightly before giving him a small wave, "Yeah my mom just wants to talk to you first."
"Hello young man. I am her mother you can just call me Mrs. Dunbar, I had some questions about tonight before I dropped my daughter off here." She said her voice was light but she had a stern expression on her face.
Carl smiled, "Sure ask away nothing to hide here."
"Do you do drugs? Are there going to be any adults here tonight? Are you sleeping in separate rooms? Do you have any bad intentions towards my daughter?" She fired them off one by one.
Raising a brow he smiled slightly before answering, "No I don't do drugs. Yes my sister and father are both going to be here. I have a younger sister who said that it was fine for her to sleep in the same room as her, and no I am just a friend we haven't know each other for that long either."
She stared at him for a moment before nodding her eyes going soft as she looked over at her daughter, "That is good. Well then Sam have a nice night, call me tomorrow when you are ready to be picked up."
"Yes ma'am. Have a goodnight too, I will call you when I am ready." Sammy said with a small smile while grabbing a bag and getting out the car.
He could feel the eyes of her mother as the two of them walked into the house, when the door was shut he finally let out a breath while looking at Sammy, "So what is this about spending the night? I didn't know that was happening."
She looked sheepish while pulling on the sleeve of her hoodie, "Yeah sorry about that. I kind of panicked and told my mom that I am staying, I can always call her later and tell her something has come up."
"No it is fine. Though we will need to find a place for you to sleep, my room is a little messy at the moment since a new bathroom is being built down there." He said while shaking his head at her.
"Well how big is the bed you are sleeping on now? We are only friends I don't mind sharing a bed with you since we are only friends." She said with a shrug while looking around the house as they walked into the living room.
"We can fit." Is all he said agreeing with her, she was honestly just a friend he didn't see her as more then that.
"Good."
They passed by everyone in the kitchen who just looked at them he stopped and looked at Fiona, "Fi this is my friend Sammy, she is going to spend the night. Make sure you have a good night out on your date night tonight." after Sammy sent her a small wave they kept walking going up the stairs.
"You see that! I decided to leave for the night and he already has a girl staying over, I shouldn't be leaving tonight!" They could hear Fiona say as they made it to the top of the stares.
"Oh that is not a valid reason, Kass is here...." Steve's voice came but faded as they entered the room.
"Should I leave?" Sammy asked nervously tugging on her hoodie more.
"No she will leave no matter what. She was just trying to use you as a reason to stay when we all know she needs a night away from all her problems." He said shaking his head while taking the backpack from her and putting it on his old bed.
"Alright good, I didn't want to cause any problems." She said in relief.

Two hours later he had finished making the steaks for them, he put in all his effort with them making them turn out perfect, she kept giving him compliments on it. Lip was sitting with them at the table while making jokes, Debby was there too but she wasn't talking as much and was texting on her phone only saying something every now and then.
As they were laughing Frank barged into the room panting a little, he was here earlier then what Carl that they would be, "Which one of you in your life at one point has wanted to see me dead, don't be shy raise your hands." Lip and Carl glanced at one another before raising their hands, "Great well here is your chance."
He then went on to explain to them about the money he owed and wanting to fake his death, Carl nodded at the plan since it was pretty sound, they just needed to put all the pieces together. Once it was all hashed out they went back to eating, Sammy had wide eyes but he just laughed while explain some of what Frank was, she eventually realized who he was.
You can't live on this side of town and not know the local drunk Frank Gallagher.
"So what do you want to do Movies or Games?" He asked while cleaning the plates while she sat on the counter next to him.
"Movies. I am just not good at games, don't feel like getting my pride wounded by showing that embarrassing side of me." She said with a wave of her hands looking horrified at the idea of playing any games.
"Alright well we can go down to my room to watch them. I will show you what is going on down there while you can also get a look at my room." He said finishing washing the last plate and setting it to dry while drying his hands.
She nodded and followed him as they made their way down stairs, he gave her a quick tour showing her everything but what he had hidden, she gave compliments where they were needed. Sitting down he handed her the remote so that she could choose what they were going to watch, while he waited Kass called him at that moment.
With nothing to hide he answered the phone right there, Kass showed up in the phone with a wide smile, "Hello there chipmunk, how was your day?!"
"Hey handsome. My day was fine just the same as usual I missed you though, did you miss me?" She asked her eyes sparkling.
"Yes I missed you."
She giggled before going into something talking his ear off he listened and nodded at her, he could see on the side the Sammy picked a movie but it was paused as she waited on him, she was also trying not to laugh while hearing their conversation. "Oh I forgot to say. My dad is set the dinner date he wants to meet you in two days, I will come pick you up okay?"
He thought it over and there was nothing scheduled for those days, "That is fine."
"Good I will come and pick you up that night. Knowing my dad it will be a high class restaurant so make sure you wear something nice, just a dress up shirt and a blazer wear jeans and sneakers if you want." She said with a smile.
For another thirty minutes she talked to him more before they hung up, "Did you enjoy listening?"
"Yes, that girl is very entertaining to listen to. Though I don't see the crazy you are talking about, then again you seem to keep her calm and happy so who knows what she is like angry or if she is away from you." She said with a small smile while curling into the couch.
"True. Now let's start watching the movie."
They watched four movies before he convinced her to play one game which turned out to being the Sims 3, that was the only thing she was comfortable playing with him. He shook his head but let it go, after they played for awhile they went to bed for the night, he still needed to be ready for Franks fake funeral tomorrow.
