Chapter 173: CRUEL

"Well, well, well," Eloise grimacingly tucked her hands into one another. She was holding Louisa captive with her stare, the kind of gaze powerful enough to crack any glass before bursting it asunder in a heartbeat. "Who do we have here?" She kept her eyes peering into Louisa.

Louisa, who in that short minute stared in awe of the woman's traits— youthful glow and all, got slapped back to the present in which she once more became aware of who the person was that was right before her. Eloise was this person. A woman she had never gotten along with and who also hated her for all her guts.

Louisa did not know to keep her body from flinching slightly. There was a way the woman held her locked in her gaze, a look so hard that it traveled a cold chill down her spine.
