Isabelle had asked even though she clearly knew what the problem with her sister's mood was all about. It was all Rochester.

Now that his health was slowly getting better, he'd requested for her not to be around him as much. Samantha was easily unnerved about it once she found out he was easier on the other girl, "Hazel." When Samantha had told Isabelle how she'd talked to her about them calling a truce, Isabelle had thought she was dancing in troubled waters then or about to, either way. The news of that woman staying longer in Rochester's room last night after he had everyone sent out by seven in the evening, was highly unsettling for Samantha.

Isabelle felt like she should have been with him this morning if she was this upset about it.

"I am surprised that you would ask me that." Samantha wrapped a scowl on her face that did not help her look pretty at all.
