Samantha hastily had a change of heart, pulling close. "I am sorry for upsetting you," she said apologetically and then crouched in her front. "Can I hold your hands?"

"I am not wailing over any of this, so no!" Isabelle slapped her hands away.

"Then why?" Samantha stood up, jutting her chin. "Why are you being unreasonable right now?"

"It's the hormones, see?" Reaching for a hankie that was sitting on the bed, to her left, Isabelle started to wipe out the tears. "I get like that a lot since I became like this," she gestured her huge bump at her sister who simply half-smiled at her, "Richard always hated it when I cried. He never said the reason why, but he, storming out on most nights when we argued, told how affectionate he can be. He loves his child and me, I know. He just needs a little time after which he will come find me.…"
